(AllHipHop News) Rapper Gucci Mane has lined up his first post-prison gig for Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend.
The Hip-Hop star, real name Radric Davis, was set free on May 26, after spending almost two years behind bars.
In May, 2014, he was ordered to serve 39 months for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The sentence was subsequently extended by three years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault following a separate attack on a fan at an Atlanta, Georgia nightclub in March, 2013.
And he’ll be back on the Atlanta stage on Friday night (June 17) after signing on to headline a show as part of local radio station HOT 107.9-FM’s Birthday Bash festival.
His Welcome Home Concert will take place at The Mansion Elan.
The weekend-long Birthday Bash will also feature performances by T.I., 50 Cent, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Kevin Gates, and Rae Sremmurd.
When Gucci Mane was released from an Indiana prison, TMZ reported that he would be under house arrest for “a few months.”
If his live comeback works out, that house arrest is either very lenient or shorter than initially reported.
The rap star wasted no time getting back to work following his prison release – on Mayg 27, he released a new song, titled “First Day Out Tha Feds.”
