Kanye West is continuing his tirade against Adidas over the brand selling “fake Yeezys,” leaking an alleged insider memo including “talking points” surrounding their latest release.
West posted the document on Instagram Thursday evening (February 29). It includes “reactive talking points” for staff if questioned about the latest Adidas-branded Yeezys.
“Adidas is the sole owner of the product, including the design rights for existing products as well as previous colorways,” the email notes. “The products are existing Yeezy designs initiated in 2022.”
The memo also states, “Adidas honored contractual obligations.”
According to the doc, Adidas encouraged staff to “refrain for extended conversations or altercations regarding this topic,” and to use the talking points “only to assist in general comments by consumers,” not media.
“This is the document that they give employees at adidas when asked questions about Yeezy,” West wrote in the caption.
He also linked his feud with Adidas to his issues with ex-wife Kim Kardashian over the children’s schooling and cancel culture generally.
“There is an overlap to adidas and Kim ignoring my opinion on where my kids go to school or people ignoring my name change or the entire celebrity culture ostracizing me for my political opinion,” he added. “It all comes down to human rights which you sacrifice when you’re stigmatized with mental issues. All these situations are actually far crazier than what I’ve been branded to be.”
Kanye West’s DM’s Over Adidas’ “Fake Yeezys”
West followed up in his Instagram Stories with screenshots of several DM exchanges. He told a Yeezy fan account, “they using my fake designs and adding fake colors and not paying me.”
Other screenshots were DMs to accounts apparently promoting the latest Adidas Yeezy release. “Are you getting paid to promote this,” he asked.
“Even if yall never liked me this is still next level robbery,” West wrote to the adidasoriginals IG account.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, West called out Kim Kardashian on Instagram, demanding that she remove their four children from Sierra Canyon school.
