Kendrick Lamar Unreleased Music Debuts During Chanel Runway Show In Paris

It’s a big Chanel X pgLang affair in Paris right now.

Kendrick Lamar has unleashed yet another unreleased record from his vault in connection to his recent release for Chanel. On Tuesday (January 23), a track tentatively titled as “Tranquilizer” soundtracked the Spring/Summer 2024 runway presentation for the haute couture brand, which took place in Paris.

Equipped with intoxicating production, the track is embedded with a playfully dark tongue-in-cheek hook as Lamar raps, “Some of you love me tranquilizer, and I vow to put you all down.” In addition to Dave Free, and Lamar, Naomi Campbell, who also collaborated with the former pair on the trailer for the “Chanel Shows” short film, sat in the front row during the show.

Following the runway show, the full short film starring Margaret Qualle was also premiered at the Grand Palais Ėphémère. Another unreleased song from Lamar also appears in the short feature, which was scored by the pgLang co-founder as well.
