Lil Wayne’s Bus Driver Says Rappers Tried To Kill Him; Sues Birdman, Young Thug and Young Money

LIL WAYNE’S BUS DRIVER SUES OVER TOUR BUS SHOOTING!

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne’s former bus driver has hit the rapper’s record label with a lawsuit, claiming his feud with Birdman almost cost him his life.

Young Money, Cash Money, Bryan “Birdman” Williams, Young Thug and Peewee Roscoe are being sued by Alvin Lewis, who was driving Wayne’s bus on April 26, 2016, when it was hit with gunfire.

Alvin Lewis’ lawsuit claims that Peewee Roscoe threatened to “spray” the bus after a dispute arose at Compound nightclub, just after Lil Wayne performed.

Hours later, Peewee Roscoe, born Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, pursued Lil Wayne’s tour bus in a white Chevy Camaro, and fired multiple rounds as it traveled along Interstate 285.

Peewee Roscoe was ultimately sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the shooting, which neither Birdman, nor Young Thug “repudiated” according to Alvin Lewis’ lawsuit.

“Defendants placed plaintiff in immediate fear of death and severe bodily harm by attacking and attempting to kill him without any just provocation or cause,” Lewis claims in his lawsuit.

Lewis seeks an unspecified amount of damages.
