(AllHipHop News) Eazy-E was a rapper, a label head, and apparently a novice comic book creator. According to Deadpool artist and Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld, Eazy began working on a project titled The Hood before his death. The concept of the potential book centered around urban men with powers.

“The designs are dated but reflect the time of that era. Youngblood had a huge urban audience with characters such as Sentinel and Chapel,” Liefeld wrote on Instagram. “Would have been a blast to complete, but Eazy-E had fell out of contact due to complications with his illness.”

Eazy-E passed away in 1995 after being diagnosed with AIDS. The Compton native has become a major topic in entertainment news once again thanks to the success of the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton.
