(AllHipHop News) In June, Kanye West added another track to The Life Of Pablo album which was released in February. “Saint Pablo” featured an appearance by British singer-songwriter Sampha.
The creator of the forthcoming Process project spoke with Pharrell Williams and Scott Vener for the OTHERtone show. Pharrell asked Sampha about his experience working with Ye.
“It was amazing meeting him and just seeing his process,” said Sampha. “It sort of filled me with confidence in myself to just try and do a solo project.”
He continued, “That’s where I got the idea of it’s alright sometimes to let other people help you realize your vision.”
Sampha has also collaborated with Drake, Frank Ocean, Jessie Ware, and SBTRKT. The “Timmy’s Prayer” vocalist’s full OTHERtone interview airs Sunday (August 4) on Beats 1 radio, and he is set to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight (September 1).
