(AllHipHop News) Rapper Tyler the Creator has shut down “annoying” speculation he is set to drop a surprise new album this week.
Fans of the Odd Future star have been buzzing about the rumored follow-up to 2015’s Cherry Bomb after linking the 26-year-old to a mysterious website decorated in bright colors with flowers and expletives – similar to the style Tyler is known for.
The homepage for ScumF**kFlowerBoy.com also featured a countdown clock, which expires on Friday (May 5), leading site visitors to assume the rapper was preparing to release fresh material.
However, Tyler has since taken to Twitter to distance himself from the website.
“not my site,” he began in a series of posts. “yall gullible smh (shaking my head)… s**t is annoying, like really? if u aint hear it from me it aint real (sic)”.
He then advised fans to take screenshots of the tweets before he deletes them, because “it makes this page look ugly.”
Moments later, Tyler stayed true to his word and removed the posts from his profile.
