(AllHipHop News) Tekashi 6ix9ine’s ex-manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan will be just over 50 years old when he gets out of Federal prison.
Shotti, who hails from Brooklyn, pled guilty to one count of using and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence for an assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence
U.S prosecutor Steve Berman has officially submitted an opinion to the judge presiding over the case and the government is recommending 15 years in prison for Shotti, which is the mandatory minimum.
“The defendant is one of the most culpable Nine Trey members charged in this case. He was a high-ranking member of Nine Trey and
engaged in multiple acts of violence, including several shootings,” said United States Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman.
“The defendant was a vocal proponent of Nine Trey and whenever Nine Trey, or by extension, Hernandez, was disrespected, the defendant chose to respond with violence. The defendant showed little regard for the safety of others,” Berman added.
Berman also broke down the structure of the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, and said the gang has to separate operations, one inside prisons and one on the streets.
Geoffrey S. Berman revealed Shotti, 37, held the second highest position for the gang’s street operations.
“The defendant held the High 020 position, which is the second highest position in the Street Lineup. The defendant was involved in multiple acts of violence, detailed below, in furtherance of the Nine Trey enterprise,” Geoffrey S. Berman said.
The charges against Shotti were part of a sweeping RICO indictment the feds brought against tekashi 69 and his crew, over a wave of violence and drug dealing committed by the Bloods gang members.
The feds hope the lengthy sentence for Shotti will serve as a deterrent to keep him from participating in any more gang activity with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
“Should the Court sentence the defendant to the Guidelines range of 180 months’ imprisonment, he will likely be imprisoned until he is nearly 50 years old. In addition, he will be placed on a term of supervised release. Hopefully, the defendant will have been deterred from being a part of a gang, and committing acts of violence, upon his release from prison,” United States Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman wrote.
