Brooklyn rapper Kovè drops a new single and video for her track “Picasso.”

Kovè is your new favorite female rapper, period. Kovè, real name Kimberly DaCosta, hails from the island of Jamaica, but calls Brooklyn, New York her home. Since a young age, she’s been making waves in the biggest music hubs around America, including Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, and New York.

While based in ATL, she caught the attention of Thomas “TomCat” Bennett, a staple within Maybach Music Group. Now, she returns with the official music video for “Picasso,” which sees her talking her s### in the best way she knows how.

This follows her previous single titled “Scrub,” which was released at the end of last year. Regardless, each record highlights her tenacious rapping style and songwriting abilities.

She states, ““I’m in my own lane so I don’t blend in with the crowded room. My humble beginnings pushed me to work on my legendary future.”

With Tom backing Kovè to the fullest, it ‘s only right she got the co-sign from MMG boss Rick Ross.
