It was everything Popular Demand has grown to represent as everyone was able to experience the new album while the champagne flowed. Common took the time to speak to the crowd about the state of hip hop and his decision to collaborate with newcomers Chance the Rapper, Vince Staples and Lil Herb. Guests also enjoyed live performances by Common with LA based DJs Eric of Dena and DJ Sleek on the turntables. Among the attendees were James Fauntleroy, VH1’s JasFly, comedian DeStorm Power and more.
