(AllHipHop News) One of Top Dawg Entertainment’s newest signees, Isaiah Rashad, is prepping to drop his first official project in the near future. It was expected that the Tennessee native was releasing Cilvia as a mixtape. Rashad now tells Revolt that it will be coming out as an EP, and the project will “create a vibe.”

“The vibe… when you cleaning up around, you throw something on, and you just vibin’ to it. You just catch the feeling,” said Rashad. “That’s what stuck with me when I was a kid. Even now, in the music I listen to, I like the stuff I can just throw on at any time. I don’t like music that’s just party appropriate or just ‘this time’ appropriate. Just create a vibe. Take me out of where I’m at. Bring me somewhere else.”
The “R.I.P. Kevin Miller” rapper also lets listeners know not to expect to hear the members of TDE’s Black Hippy on Cilvia. Rashad is going forward without help from Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock.
“I didn’t want to get signed and then cheat, use the cheat code,” explains Rashad. “I could’ve did the cheat code and got Kendrick, and got Q, and got Soul, got Rock. I just kept it by myself and SZA.”
