Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Kanye Sneak Diss Drake Last Night?

I definitely missed this diss in plain sight. Maybe y’all can help me help me, which in turn helps you figure it out. Below is the whole rant Kanye said last night, bit inside of it is a diss to Drake, I am being told. I can’t see it. Also, mind you, Kanye showed up to Drake’s OVO Fest…I wouldn’t think he’d be spazzing already. But….

“Aye yo this Yeezy right now speaking to y’all. This the heart of the muthaf**king city, act y’all ain’t have that muthaf**king Clipse album and s###. Act like y’all ain’t base y’all whole s###, whole lifestyle off this ni**a Pusha T. Everything is Pusha T. Pyrex Vision, that’s Pusha T. Fear of God, that’s Pusha T. This ni**a the heart of the muthaf**king culture for you culture vultures. This the only ni**a spitting that wild muthaf**king hip-hop s### right now, that’s why I stand next to this ni**a. I don’t give a f**k about none of these corporations, none of these f**king sellouts, this muthaf**king Pusha T.”

“All these ni**as trying to extend their muthaf**king t-shirts, trying to throw numbers on the back of their s**t….this muthaf**king Pusha T. ‘I have a t-shirt line, cause I got numbers at the back of my s###,’ F**k you.”

I’m not clear!

Meek Mill Freestyles Over Big Sean's "Control" (VIDEO)

In a rare occurrence of a major label artists actually freestyling, Meek Mill decides to drop quite a few bars over Big Sean’s heavily in demand “Control” instrumental produced by No I.D.

While at Hip Hop Nation, the entire MMG roster promoted the upcoming third installment in the Self Made series. In Meek’s freestyle he does not make any overt shots at his sparring partner, Kendrick Lamar on this freestlye in any sort of similar vain as his recently released “Oooh Kill Em”.

Self Made 3 Vol. 3 will be released on September 17th. Accompanying the release of the album will be  Self Made 3 The Live Experience. Self Made 3 The Live Experience wistream of Wale’s What Dreams May Come performance  at the Halton Arena in Charlotte, NC, Meek Mill Ibiza Nightclub performance in Washington, DC along with Rick Ross’ performance at Grammercy Theatre in NYC.

PREMIERE: Nissim Ft. Simon Benzaquen "Sores"

Seattle rapper Nissim, formerly known as D.Black, entitled “Sores.” The gripping and powerful song is perhaps the first of it’s kind, combining hip-hop and classical Jewish Cantorial (Hazinut) music, as it tells the story of first an African-America slave during the 1700s and later a German Jew in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. Nissim’s Orthodox faith continually informs his work, but perhaps never so explicitly as in this new track, where he draws on the parallels of two seemingly disparate peoples’ struggles, ultimately affirming the common humanity underlying both.

Pusha T and Juicy J Team Up To Takeover SkeeLive

Last night on AXS TV’s SKeeLive show hosted by DJ Skee, Pusha T and Juicy J came through and rocked The Conga Room crowd with performances from their respective albums. Pusha T, there to promote his upcoming My Name is My Name release, hit the stage first with “Blocka” and went on to finish up with the crowd-favorite “Numbers on the Board.” Although he’s been in recent beef’s with the Young Money camp, Pusha made no real mention of it on the show. Juicy J also had an incredible performance backed by the SkeeLive band as performed “Bounce It” and “Bandz Will Make Her Dance.” Juicy actually had to record “Bounce It” twice due to excessive “smoking” on the stage. Both artists sat down with DJ Skee afterwards to talk about their new albums and solo careers. The show also included interviews with Producer Che Pope and Young Money female artist Chanel West Coast. SkeeLive airs on Mark Cuban’s AXS TV every Tuesday night at 7 pm ET/10 pm PT.
