A little over a month ago, R&B singer Miguel released the official video for his single “The Thrill”, which featured fast-cut clips of the singer sporting a hat that reads “Trouble,” while he snaps photos, capturing moments that may only happen once.
Now, with the release of “The Thrill” video which took place inside of Different Fur Studios in San Francisco, it’s time to sit still and let the singer croon. It’s not the leather jacket that gets all the attention, either. It’s more of the “shoot ’em up” moves Miguel gives when he’s feeling himself, or the way his hair moves when he starts to believe the lyrics.
Inspiring it is. This visual does a lot for the skeptical listener, and if you’re already in the Miguel know, it brings you one step closer. The performance, so good you’re convinced that “How Many Drinks” will be up next, just as on the album. It never comes in this video, but the thrill of it is all good.

You know, everybody wants another OutKast album. And we just cannot fully understand why it has not come to fruition yet. Other than issues with the label, I don’t know why they would work something out. Anyway, Big Boi has kept it moving. This time around, he didn’t have any Andre 3000 on his album at all, not even a leak record. The Village Voice asked him why and he quipped something that was quickly perceived as a diss to his longtime rap partner.
“He could’ve been on any song he wanted to. I gave the motherf**ker about five songs, but I guess he was just too busy. He said he had to do some Gillette s**t. No for real. He said he had some contractual obligations.”
After the fact, he said he was just kidding and it was a sarcastic remark. “The Gillete Statement was me being Sarcastic, man y’all slow as hell, No Beef between me and Stacks. No More Outkast ?’s will be answered,” he said on Twitter. But, since then the rumors of beef linger. Why? Because Three Stacks has been on a lot of other people’s projects (OPP). So, the time part makes little sense. Clearly, the Gillette part does as well. I don’t know but I get the impression that Big Boi is tired of people fawning over A3K. Just my opinion. I know I would. Big Boi is dope on his own. Andre 3000 has said on record that he doesn’t even know when he will release anymore music.
Ironically, Big Boi drops Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors on December 1. There’s a lot of irony in that album title.

Chicago rapper Twista was one of the first rap artists from his hometown to cross over into the mainstream, almost simultaneously with superstar Kanye West, and a few years behind Common. While they are still at the top of their game, a new crop of Chicago artists have infiltrated the music scene and are making national waves themselves.
AllHipHop.com hung out with Twista and got him to run down his favorite rappers from the Windy City. The only problem is, there are so many bubbling artists in Chicago, that Twista couldn’t contain his list to just five artists.
From Chief Keef to Lupe Fiasco (yes, they’re both on his list), Twista name’s his Top Chi-Town Spitters:
(AllHipHop News) Business mogul 50 Cent recently revealed plans for his latest venture, SMS Promotions, a new boxing company that has officially been granted a promoters license by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Earlier in the year, SMS Promotions was also granted a license in New York, paving the way for 50 Cent’s new company to compete in the boxing arena on a major level.
In July, 50 Cent revealed that SMS Promotions had already acquired four top contenders: Yuriorkis Gamboa, Andre Dirrell, Billy Dib and Celestino Caballero.
“I love boxing and have always been a big fan of the sport, so it feels especially great for me to be involved with the game at this level. My goal is to build SMS Promotions into one of boxing’s most respected promoters and bring the best fights to audiences nationwide,” Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said.
50 Cent and SMS Promotions have teamed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions to promote Yuriorkis Gamboa’s upcoming fight with a to-be-determined fighter on the Pacquiao-Marquez IV undercard on December 8, 2012.
The bout will be broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.
50 Cent is already promoting the brand aggressively to his 807,000 followers on Instagram.
This morning (November 17), 50 Cent posted a picture of himself standing with Oscar De La Hoya’s son.

(AllHipHop News) Grand Hustle artist, B.o.B. released his “F**k em We Ball” mixtape yesterday (November 15th) on his birthday, prior to which AllHipHop spoke exclusively with B.o.B about the project and his anticipation for the release, which follows up his Strange Clouds project.
Speaking with B.o.B. about his success over the past few years with successful radio hits like “Airplanes” ft Hayley Williams, “So Good,” and “Nothin on You” ft Bruno Mars and the project itself, B.o.B. explained that he is returning back to his original sound.
“This mixtape for me is like re-calibration for me, I’m like re-calibrating everything. I’m back, I’m getting back and its like back in the day when I was doing mixtapes man, back to that mode. I’m getting back to that mode for people that didnt get to see the rawness in that. Not like raw like vulger but its raw just like uncensored and free.”
When will it end? Shyne called into the Power 105.1 Breakfast Club show this morning and continued on his verbal purge of words about several artists in the music industry. Just this morning, we posted a story from an exclusive AllHipHop.com interview with Shyne, where he talks about his first meeting with 50 Cent, and how “Irv and then poked him up.” Crazy stuff.
Anyway, Shyne went in on Game in his interview with Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne, calling him everything from a stripper to making jokes about his butterfly face tattoo and tongue ring. Wait, Game has a tongue ring?
“Game ain’t no gangsta rapper. He’s a dude with a butterfly on his face and a tongue ring… They say he used to be a stripper.”
Shyne also gives his opinion on Game’s current legal issues with 40 Glocc. Check out the interview below:

The streets talk and they talk. You know, the streets are straight up gossiping these days. (Peep:Hip-Hop Rumors: Slim Da Mobster Hits 50 Cent With The Most Sensational Allegation EVER! ) But at least they are gossiping about dope Hip-Hop sh*t some of the time! I am hearing that three New Jersey Legends are in the process of creating a super group. I am not at liberty to speak on it right now, but I thought I would have a bit of fun with the rumor.
What I am going to do is put in the video pot some NJ emcees and let the rumors run from there! The catch is there are three and only three in this group.
