Hits Daily Double‘s final first week sales numbers for Lecrae’s new album Anomaly would put the LP at the top of the charts. The project is looking to push around 88,000 units opening week. That total would edge out Maroon 5’s V (78,000) and Jhené Aiko’s Souled Out (71,000).
This would be the first #1 album for the faith-based performer. Lecrae’s 2012 album Gravity debuted in the Top 5 with 72,000 copies sold, and the LP took home the Grammy award for Best Gospel Album.
Billboard’s official album chart will be revealed later this week.
