(AllHipHop News) Teenage rapper Leonard “L’A Capone” Anderson was killed outside a studio in Chicago last week. The 17-year-old, a friend of Def Jam recording artist Lil Durk, was gunned down Thursday evening and later pronounced died at Northwestern Hospital around 8:30 pm.

L’A Capone was waiting to be picked up by a friend when he was shot in the right thigh and lower back. He was apparently shot last September as well and underwent surgery and extensive treatment after that shooting.
“My friend Erica called me and told me he got shot,” said Anderson’s mother Dedra Morris. “They said he was alert and talking. I never in a million years thought this would happen.”
Lil Durk (born Durk Banks) sent out a get well tweet to L’A Capone and then added a rest in peace message a few hours later after the teenager passed away.
