Ventura, California-based KYLE might be the most charismatic, uplifting, and authentically fun rapper out there. Since he burst onto the scene two years ago with his debut project, Beautiful Loser, which sold almost 2k copies its first week totally independently, KYLE’s made it his mission to spread his infectious love for life and “just be yourself” gospel. Following a string of national tours opening up for G-Eazy and Watksy, and songs with Kehlani and Chance The Rapper, KYLE is gearing up for his next release due out this summer. In the meantime, he teamed up with fellow feel-good rapper Iamsu! to release the loosie, “It’s Lit.” The track premiered via Complex, who said “between the catchy hook, the infectious production courtesy of M-Phazes, and the memorable verses, it seems that KYLE has another potential hit on his hands.”
“This song captures the essence of the party, the essence of being in the moment I feel like,” KYLE explained to Complex. “It’s every good feeling you’ve had on a night out with your friends. I haven’t really made a record like this before so it was cool trying something new. This is also the first time I had met M-Phazes, and the energy when we started working on this was amazing.”
