AHH Stray News: Drake’s Mystery Event, Freeway’s Documentary, Ludacris Pays It Forward

Toronto rapper Drake will head to Houston in a couple of days, for a surprise event. Drake took to Instagram on Saturday night (September 3) to announce a new dance event he is sponsoring called “The Ballet.” Drizzy has to reveal any details about the event, which is taking place September 5th, from 10:00PM – 2:00AM.

Philly rap star Freeway was just recently in Baltimore and northern Virginia, where he was officially campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Freeway is supporting Hillary in part, because of her policies on healthcare. The rapper, who is need of a kidney transplant, stopped by the MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital while he was in Charm City. Freeway was there to shoot scenes from an upcoming documentary about his life after learning he suffered from diabetes and needs a kidney transplant. Last night (September 3), Freeway was in great shape as he assisted rapper Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz during their ColleGrove set at Made In America in Philadelphia.

Rapper Ludacris surprised a paralyzed fan earlier this week when he dropped into the teen’s hospital room to spread some good vibes. Ryley Hooper, 19, was paralyzed from the neck down after he dove into the shallow end of the pool. Has been staying at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, so Ludacris decided to pay the youngin’ a visit. “He’s only 19 years old and we mostly spoke about how what seems impossible is always possible with the right mindset,” Ludacris said in a post on IG. “He knows this from personal experience because he hasn’t let his set back set him back.” Luda is currently in the middle of celebrating his annual Luda Day Weekend in his hometown of Atlanta.
