Chris Brown’s Gun Case Reportedly Stalled By District Attorney Over Lack Of Evidence

THE SINGER COULD BE AVOIDING MORE TROUBLE

(AllHipHop News) At one point it looked as if Chris Brown was once again facing serious jail time.

Brown was arrested in August because a woman named Baylee Curran accused the platinum-selling singer of pointing a gun at her during a party at his house.

Brown has denied the allegations, and the District Attorney on the case appears to be leaning toward siding with the “Grass Ain’t Greener” performer.

TMZ reports:

Sources close to the investigation tell us … the reason the case has not gone forward is that the D.A. is unimpressed with the evidence assembled by cops. As we reported, the case was supposed to be submitted to prosecutors 2 weeks ago but the D.A. kicked it back for lack of evidence.

Chris Brown was released on $250,000 bail.

Curran has had her own issues with the law.

The beauty pageant contestant is wanted in New York City for questioning in connection to a purse being stolen from a hotel in 2013.
