Atlanta on-air personality Greg Street is making the summer more memorable for radio listeners with his upcoming Good Day cookout tour.
The outing, which is geared toward the South and Midwest, represents a way for Street to give back to fans, who will gather in a fun, safe setting, according to Street.
“I want to plan a giant cookout for the listeners of radio stations in different cities and invite their families out. I want mothers, grandmothers and kids to come out and have a good time,” the Hattiesburg, Mississippi native said. “The food and the beverages will be free. Then at night well do a party so well touch on both levels of whats going on: the family thing and the party thing.”
A fixture on Atlantas airwaves, Street is a radio veteran who is also known for his work with various charities, events and foundations, as well as the creation of his Street Academy/Operation Correct Start, which works to help young boys become men and avoid negative situations in their communities.
The Good Day tour is one of a series of specialized promotions and events Street is using to promote his forthcoming album Greg Street Certified Worldwide.
