J. Cole has emerged as one of the more enduring talents creatively and not the North Carolina is officially a bankable commercial artist as he has struck platinum.
The Fayetteville native’s third album, Forest Hills Drive, is now certified platinum.
The album, which dropped in December, has steadily gained in sales even though he didn’t have the overt commercial appeal like Drake. Cole World’s last efforts – Cole World: The Sideline Story and Born Sinner – peaked at 735,000 and 720,000 units respectively.
