Jay-Z

has announced that he will be moving the street date

of his 6th album, The Blueprint up two weeks to September

11th, due to massive bootlegging on the street, the

internet, barber shops and even record stores.

The album

was originally scheduled for release on September 25th,

then it was switched to September 18th. Due to the massive

street buzz the record has gathered, the label decided

to beat the bootleggers to the punch and fill the demand

for Jigga’s album, which many are calling his best album

since 1995’s Reasonable Doubt.

"I

just think when someone puts there heart and soul in

making an album, and they like it, they should buy it,"

Jay-Z said about bootleggers. Music shouldn’t be traded

so freely. Paying for a CD is way easier."

Jigga announced
