Lil Yachty features on Brooklyn rapper DontKallMeLuxxy’s new song “Sydney,” which samples Beanie Sigel’s iconic instrumental.   

Lil Yachty dropped a verse on a new song that samples Beanie Sigel’s#### song “Feel it In The Air.”  

On Wednesday (January 17) Yachty shared a snippet of the “Sydney” visuals. He appears on the track alongside Brooklyn rapper DontKallMeLuxxy. Many of his fans praised the song on Instagram, littering his comment section with fire emojis.  

“Boat dat second verse Grammy worthy,” one fan wrote. “One thing you got to fw is the creativity. Nobody trying to be different anymore. This hard,” added another.

However, not everybody was such a fan of Lil Yachty rapping over Beanie Sigel’s iconic instrumental.  

“The older rappers need to come together and collectively get some kinda rules going that state that if you trash, you can’t flip my classic record,” one critic shared on X. “Lil Yachty over “Feel It In The Air”? Nah bruh that s### should be illegal. You know how angry I’ll be if I hear that Biggies “Juicy” has been flipped by Lil Half A Slice? Plz stop.” 

Another added, “Yachty and that other loser not only being lame but why tf would you ruin a classic like Feel It In The Air?!! One of my mf favs.”
