Popular Hip-Hop producer/rapper Pharrell Williams and advertising executive Steve Stoute are among the executives that will take part in Billboard and Adweek’s first annual Music & Advertising conference.
The new two-day inaugural event will take place at the W Hotel in New York on Lexington June 4-5.
The conference is designed to explore the synergies between brands, the world of advertising and the music business, through keynote interviews, case studies and panel discussions.
The Music and Advertising conference will also allow attendees to network with agency executives, brand executives to reach new markets.
Williams will be featured in a Q&A session with Billboard’s Editorial Director Bill Werde, while Stoute, Translation’s Chief Creative Officer, will deliver the event’s first keynote speech.

In related news, Pharrell Williams has invested in Bionic Yam, a 2-year-old textile firm, based in New York, dedicated to producing environmentally sustainable fabrics using recycled plastic bottles.
