(AllHiphop News) Chris Smith, the last living member of Kriss Kross, tearfully recollected his fondest memories of his rap partner Chris Kelly, who died May 1 of a suspected drug overdose.
Smith’s eulogy brought those in attendance, including Chris Kelly’s mother Donna.
Smith said, “I just want to say, I love you man. I would say Kris Kross forever, but without Chris, it ain’t never gonna be the same. But I hope our legacy for hip-hop is never forgotten.”
Other attendees included DJ Nabs, Da Brat and mentor Jermaine Dupri.
