(AllHipHop News) Alabama rapper Yelawolf recently sat down with AllHipHop.com and commented on last week’s arrest of Pittsburgh, PA rapper Wiz Khalifa, during a stop on the nationwide “Waken Baken 2010″ tour.Wiz was released on $300,000 bail, after he was busted with about 60 grams of potent marijuana at East Carolina University (ECU). Greenville, North Carolina police hit the rapper with three charges, including two felonies for possession and intent to distribute.”It’s unfortunate Wiz got locked up,” Yelawolf explained to AllHipHop.com. “Its my homie. Its inevitable. That man smokes so much weed, he needs to move to Cali to live where its legal. He definitely shouldn’t have been locked up for having weed or smoking weed. I mean he just smokes it, who gives a f**k. They need to let him go and drop that s**t.”Yelawolf is billed as the opener for Wiz on the tour, which kicked off on August 7th in Boston, New York and ends tomorrow night (November 16th) in Pennsylvania. In October, Wiz told AllHipHop.com he just may move from Pennsylvania to California, where the laws on marijuana possession are more relaxed. “I’m trying to move out that way, I am tired of catching cases in Pennsylvania over marijuana,” Wiz told AllHipHop.com in October. “Its medicinal too, above everything, it’s not just a cool thing to do the s**t works.”Yelawolf, who is planning his own debut album via Ghet-O-Vision/Interscope, wished Wiz the best of luck. “I don’t want to see him locked up or f**ked up or facing charges or having to pay the court system his hard earned money because he smokes weed,” Yelawolf said. “He just gotta be more careful. He knows it though, he’s a smart dude.”EThe “Waken Baken 2010” tour concludes tomorrow (November 16th) at Crocodile Rock, a popular venue in Allentown, Pennsylvania, about two hours outside of Wiz’ hometown of Pittsburgh.
(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne recently finished a new track that is scheduled to be released any day, according to Young Money affiliate DJ Scoob Doo. “Nino Brown aka @ liltunechi Got His First Song Since Rikers Coming To Yall Soon,” DJ Scoob tweeted yesterday (November 14). “Just Think A 2010 Version Of A Milli, But On Steroids.”According to a tweet DJ Scoob Doo, the terms of Lil Wayne’s probation are not effecting the rapper’s ability to record. Ray Charles has a granddaughter named Blair Robinson and she has a new song to the beat of “You Fancy.” In the song, you see her flaunting her assets and sitting in a tub of money. Good thing Ray wasn’t able to see, he may be watching down from Heaven. You think he would approve?
Nevertheless, she is releasing her debut mixtape The Takeover tomorrow. Look for it.
SHOUT OUT JAY ELECTRONICA AND JAY-Z!
AND DIDDY! Now, I assumed that Diddy was mad at Jay Electronica with his tweet over the weekend. Did you see it? Click here for that. Now, initially, I had heard and most people assumed that Diddy was mad at Jay Electronica. For those that don’t know, Jay Elect was super close with Diddy, at least Diddy was really trying to get him on Bad Boy. BUT, I am hearing that Diddy is really hurt up by the fact that Jay-Z came in and scooped up Jay Electronica from him. Diddy and Jay go way back so this makes some real sense.
JAY ELECTRONICA…SPEAKS TO DIDDY!
Is it me or is Twitter totally messing up how people communicate? “Changing” would be an understatement.
Read from the bottom up.
AND DIDDY ELIMINATES JAY-Z…
Well, Diddy saw the rumors and has already shot down the idea that he has any issues with Jay-Z. But, he didn’t rule out Jay Elect. Hopefully, they dead this fast or it could get messy.
He also told Jay-Elec he wasn’t mad at him either. I (I’m) proud of you! Im happy for you. I love you! I congratulate you Im not mad at you! All I wanna do is see you win! All love.
Well, now the question is…WHO HURT MADE IT HARD FOR DIDDY TO BREATH?
Also on that night, Jay-Z gave some shout outs. Peep that.
KANYE WEST GOT A GOOD REVIEW!
He was happy too! That’s what’s up.
SHOOTING AT JUSTINS
If the signing of Jay Electronic to Roc Nation wasn’t bad enough, Diddy got more bad news. There was a shooting outside of his restaurant Justin’s on Saturday. The dudes were sitting outside of the restaurant when somebody leapt in and just opened fire. In true form, the men were all shot up, but didn’t tell the police anything. At least he still has a Red Cafe.
USHER IS KISSING GURLS ON TOUR!?
See, this is why Trey Songz cannot take over. Usher won’t let him be great.
RAY-J IS BACK WITH WHITNEY?
I know this is old, but I thought it deserved a mention. Ray-J may have crept his way back into the tabloids. He was seen kissing Whitney Houston the other day, getting the rumors started EARLY.
ILLSEED’S QUICKIES
Floyd Mayweather didn’t watch Manny Pacquiao fight on Saturday.
Kanye West didn’t do anything to Amber Rose and Amber Rose didn’t do anything with Shaq.
There are a lotta crappy rumors going around. I hate when they somehow leak onto my page.
Wayne and Drake probably didn’t have a fight, but somebody keeps peddling that rumor.
The people that were selling pics of Kanye’s weezer tried to sell them to Playgirl and Playgirl reportedly declined.
Rihanna felt to bad about missing Kay Perry’s wedding. So bad, that she gave her and her new husband another honeymoon in Japan.
This is a nice rumor. Rumor has it, Anthony Mackie and Kerry Washington are in a relationship.
Hulk Hogan is getting married at the ripe ol’ age of 57. The woman he bagged his 35.
Damn. Cassie’s album leaked and nobody cares.
SOME PICS OF JIGGA AND DIDDY IN BETTER DAYS…
Friends ’til the end!DIDDY AND JAY, WE LOVE YOU!! They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!

Young Berg robbed Lil Scrappy? NAH!
It would have been hot if he did though.
DIDDY MAD AT JAY ELECTRONICA?
There is a song with Jay-Z and Jay Electronica called Shiney Suit Theory. I wonder what that means?! From what I understand, Jay-E said he went with Jay and not Diddy for his creative freedom. SHYNE GOES FULL ORTHODOX JEWISH!
I wonder what Shyne feel about these feelings Diddy is havng over his friend Jay Electronica.
Shyne is supposedly coming out next year.
DIDDY & JAY ELECTRONICA, WE LOVE YOU!! They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!
(AllHipHop News) Queens, New York rapper Nicki Minaj will cover next week’s issue of Billboard magazine, just as her new debut album Pink Friday heads to stores. In the interview with Billboard, Nicki Minaj shares several details about her life before she was a world famous rapper. “Id been fired like 15 times because I had a horrible attitude,” Nicki Minaj stated. “I worked at Red Lobster before that and I chased a customer out of the restaurant once so I could stick my middle finger up at her and demand that she give me my pen back. I swear to God I was bad.”According to Nicki Minaj, she started using her various accents shortly after she started to gain buzz on the New York rap circuit, in order to distance herself from other emcees. When I started rapping, people were trying to make me like the typical New York rapper, but Im not that, Minaj says. No disrespect to New York rappers, but I dont want people to hear me and know exactly where Im from. I wanted the album to be universal and versatile. It really feels like it speaks for every one of my personalities.Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday is due in stores on November 23rd. To read the interview click here.

A few years ago when I was a scrappy journalist, I had the pleasure of interviewing Ol Dirty Bastard at a press conference that was attended by Dame Dash, Mariah Carey and a number of others. It was the day he got out of jail and also had signed to Roc-A-Fella Records at the same time.
It was brief, but as classic ODB as anything you have ever seen. In light of the new commonalities between Kanye West and George W. Bush, it was only fitting that we hit you with this piece of Ol Dirty Bastard discussing how Bush was well, just check out the clip and enjoy the new music video by Raekwon in dedication to his friend, Ason Jones.

Hes not focused in training. Hes gotten lazy and is only at 80%. These are statements Manny Pacquiao has not only had to hear from media, but from members of his own camp going into Saturdays showdown with the once-feared Antonio Margarito. It wouldnt be without historical precedent. Fighters ranging from Sugar Ray Robinson to Mike Tyson have experienced massive upsets to lesser fighters during their peak years. Pacquiao would simply be the latest great champion to underestimate an opponent.
But the Filipino superstar doesnt plan on giving Margaritos career renewed life. In fact, hes striving to be the one who closes the book on it. In this exclusive interview, Manny Pacquiao reveals why politics and other outside ventures will never be his downfall in a boxing ring.
AllHipHop.com: Weve been hearing for months about you being unfocused in camp. Once and for all, let everyone know your take on how you did.
Manny Pacquiao: You know, my camp has always been stable. Ive never had any problems. My coach (Freddie Roach) and Alex Ariza have been saying theres a lot of distractions and its the worst camp. I dont agree; I think I had a great camp. Ive had numerous commitments in the Philippines with congress and things. But Ive done a good job managing my time. I think they say its the worst camp because they dont like the Philippines, it isnt their home.
AllHipHop.com: We know Margaritos uppercuts are his main weapon. Are you going to keep the fight on the outside, or will you get into some infighting?
Pacquiao: A combination of both. My style is to move in and out, but inside I think I have the advantage on a bigger and taller fighter like Margarito.
AllHipHop.com: A lot of people think youll run over Margarito. How are you able to stay mentally up for this fight?
Pacquiao: Always expect a tough fight. Prior to the Mosley fight, he was the biggest welterweight in the world. I still think it will be a tough test for me.
AllHipHop.com: What are you more passionate about now, boxing or politics?
Pacquiao: You know, I would not be a politician if it wasnt for my popularity in boxing. So yes, boxing is my first love, but Im in politics to help my people and make a difference when I finish boxing.
AllHipHop.com: The Philippines has a history of political corruption. Even the last president, Gloria Arroyo, was mired in it. Were just a few months in, but have you seen progress with the new regime under Benigno Aquino?
Pacquiao: Yes, the implementation of the new president is good, but it has to go deeper. Its making sure that the people in the field actually provide and do things they need to do without corruption. Its a good step forward, but its up to the congressmen, mayor and other local council members. But yes, the beginning groundwork is there.
AllHipHop.com: The Sarangani area of the Philippines is divided into seven municipalities. You live in the Kiamba section. Which municipality needs the most economic help at this time?
Pacquiao: The Glan area is a lot of our focus; its one of the municipalities. Its where a lot of the guerilla fighters areas are, which we need to develop into a progressive movement. We want to give the people access to the market and other areas. We have to bring market growth with the flow of goods to the people. Wed like to promote things like us having the best white water rafting in the country. It hasnt been developed and marketed the way it needs to be. My province is one of the only ones that doesnt have a hospital. So my focus is to build a hospital for my province.
AllHipHop.com: Lets switch gears to a social issue. Colourism affects a lot of ethnic minorities. In the Philippines, four out of every 10 Filipino women use skin-whitening creams. What can be done to combat these issues where darker Filipinos are being discriminated against and feeling shame for their own skin?
Pacquiao: Im a very proud Filipino. Our color is something that gives us our identity. Our culture is similar to India and Pakistan, where they prefer the light skin. Everybody looks at America and Caucasian people as the ideal. Even in the Philippines everyone wants to come to America; they think its a great lifestyle. But I know everyone that does come here, wants to go back.
Its a difficult to change how our society thinks. Itll take centuries. My goal is to show even a Filipino like me that came from a province with no money, can end up on the cover to TIME magazine. You can be the best fighter in the world.
AllHipHop.com: Now, youre willing to compromise on the blood testing. You werent as flexible earlier this year and walked away to take another fight. Do you regret not compromising during the first negotiations and fighting Joshua Clottey?
Pacquiao: [Pauses] Um, no. I feel like I dont need Mayweather to make my career. I fought the best and anyone willing to face me. I want it, and feel the fans deserve the Mayweather fight. I want to prove to everyone that it wasnt me who didnt want the fight. Thats why I made the concession to take anything [blood tests] he wants at any time. Even during the fight before the sixth round if he wanted! What else can I do? I hope we get the fight done soon. Lets get it on.
AllHipHop.com: A lot of this appears to be an ego clash. We gotten so much conflicting information from both sides. Do you feel that way as well?
Pacquiao: Hes the one that has to look at himself in the mirror at the end of the day. I want the fight. Its not for fame, its because I have a responsibility to the fans that have made Manny Pacquiao who he is today.
AllHipHop.com: The Roman Catholic church has a huge influence in Filipino politics. Recently, weve seen the church become heavily against reproductive health matters like condoms and birth control. As a Roman Catholic yourself, do you think the church holds too much influence? Should there be a more distinct separation with church and state?
Pacquiao: I think its different for each nation. It depends on how progressive the country is. Our country relies heavily on the advice of the church. Were a very Catholic nation, and a lot of our ideas come from the values of the church. Were not as developed as the United States or England. So, the people need to have that structure for now. When we get more developed, then we can have the more progressive thinking where we can separate everything.
We have a lot of people that are illiterate and dont have the capability for social welfare like other countries have. So its difficult to educate everybody. The church does a good job of separating itself to an extent, and presenting its values to the people. Even with the church and state separate, its up to the common sense and moral center of the individual.
AllHipHop.com: You had to experience your own parents separating when you were very young due to infidelity. As a big star, how have you been able to keep your family together and make sure the same thing doesnt happen with you?
Pacquiao: Most of my time is spent with my kids before and after camp. My wife is with me with these times. Its difficult to have dates in Manila, but we go out a lot in America, even for shopping. I know my career is high-profile, but I have to make sure my family is my main priority.
AllHipHop.com: Who were the best boxers and biggest punchers out of all the opponents youve faced?
Pacquiao: Erik Morales was a very good fighter. He could adapt and was very good. The biggest punchers would have to be De La Hoya and Miguel Cotto.
AllHipHop.com: You have a top five of your favorite all time boxers?
Pacquiao: I have Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao! That last guys good, I like to watch me [chuckles].
AllHipHop.com: Final thoughts for fans still on the fence about this fight?
Pacquiao: I want to thank them for all their support. I hope I can continue entertaining them on November 13 against Antonio Margarito. I promise a Manny Pacquiao classic. And thank you.
The wait is over. Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito square off tonight for the WBC junior-middleweight title from Dallas Stadium. The fight broadcast will start on HBO pay-per-view at 9 PM ET.

(AllHipHop News) DMX and infamous Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio have somewhat made amends with each other, after years of tension surrounding the rap star’s frequent arrests in the state. Sheriff Joe, who bills himself as “The Toughest Sheriff in America,” arrested DMX five times during his residency in the state for a variety of charges ranging from simple speeding, to animal cruelty and identity theft. According to DMX, who vowed to never return to Arizona after he was released from jail in May, he’s done with trouble in the state in which he currently resides. “What up Joe. Double r throw it up… He’s here I’m here I’m not going anywhere. I will be around a lot longer than him,” DMX told Arizona’s Fox 10 News shortly before a show last night in Scottsdale. “I wish him the best good health long life. Leave me alone.”According to Sheriff Joe, he was a bit surprised to learn that DMX will continue to reside in Arizona, especially after the rapper’s proclamation that he would never return to the state. “If I’m on a plane and they’re going to fly over it, I’m going to tell them to go around,” DMX vowed. Sheriff Joe, who is the subject of multiple lawsuits over his treatment of prisoners in the “Tent City” jails promised to leave DMX alone, so long as the rapper doesn’t break the law.”I’m not going to follow him around. If he does something wrong,” Sheriff Joe promised. “We’ll arrest him I will be happy if he does a good job in his profession and if he stays clean. I want to take credit — he did go through our drug prevention program.”

DRAKE AND WAYNE BEEFING?
I’ll report on this, because it IS a rumor, but I have to admit, it sounds silly! but, there is a rumor that Drake and Weezy are fighting. Now, after doing some research I see this originated at MTO, which is probably why I didn’t mention before now. BUT, there are some people that are lending their 2 cents and there may be something to it. This all stems from the Drake party that Wayne wasn’t allowed to get in. BUT, from what I understand these guys were seeing hanging out recently sooooooo….its another BS lie. LOL!

According to recent news reports, Grammy Award-winning artist and youth/community activist Michael Render, who performs as Mike Bigga (formerly Killer Mike), has been named in a lawsuit regarding an alleged dispute. Render has not seen the reported lawsuit, but he has responded with the following statement: As a community activist and youth advocate, I am extremely concerned about recent allegations that I was involved in an alleged dispute. These allegations are 100 percent false. In support of my assertion, I have a Facebook e-mail from the alleged victim that vindicates me of any wrongdoing in the alleged incident, which states, we cool and I know u had nothing to do with this cuz. Since my days as a student at Frederick Douglass High School and Morehouse College in Atlanta, I have worked endlessly as a youth advocate and community activist for people who hold the least amount of power well before my career in rap. Everything I stand for is about being positive and productive, and I strongly believe in setting the right example for young people in the community. (Thats one of the primary reasons I changed my stage name from Killer Mike to Mike Bigga. Although Killer only referred to my lyrical skills on the mic, I had serious concerns about the negative connotations associated with the word and the impact it would have on youth.) Ive had a strong presence in state and local politics for many years, working with Congressman John Lewis, former Atlanta Mayor and Ambassador Andrew Young, former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin, Rev. Joseph Lowery, and many others, to promote a positive platform with youth and to discourage negativity and violence. Within the hip-hop community, I am revered as a scholar and positive diplomat for my music, but the respect extends beyond the hip-hop community. Dr. Cornel West, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and other notables are huge supporters and advocates of my platform. As a high school student, I was a founding member of and youth advisor for the Atlanta/Fulton Commission on Children and Youth, which became the Jean Childs Young Institute for Youth Leadership, and I served as national spokesperson for Black Teens for Advancement. Since becoming a rapper, Ive used any fame and celebrity as an opportunity to help my community and to help Atlanta. Rapping is my job and I love it, but being a positive force for change is my passion. I frequently lecture children and teens about leading positive, productive lives though academics and the arts. I serve as a guest lecturer at Morehouse College. And I sponsor an annual back-to-school giveaway, providing school supplies, clothing and haircuts for 200-300 at-risk students. Speaking at Harper-Archer Middle School:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=–ZAIu8RER0 Speaking at Atlanta Technical College:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxKVKMcPOXU&p=286F67BE1A55CE2A&playnext=1&index=100 While I dont want these false allegations to tarnish my legacy as a rapper, Im far more concerned with the impact this will have on the youth I frequently mentor and counsel. My commitment to our community can be heard in my lyrics with songs like God in the Building and Pressure. Although my music is hardcore, it has a positive and productive message, comparable to Chuck D and Ice Cube in the 90s. Additionally, I write about issues facing our community in a weekly blog at XXLmag.com. My most recent blog, concerning mothers and addiction, is located at: http://www.xxlmag.com/online/?p=97198. Soulja Boy is crediting a recent session with Kanye West for expanding his mind as a musician.
Last month, Soulja Boy visited New York City for media rounds and to shoot a cover for XXL magazine. During his time there, Soulja worked with both 50 Cent and Kanye West.
While his work with 50 was released as a video (Mean Mug), Soulja Boys music with Kanye West has yet to be heard. He revealed that Kid Cudi joined them, and they completed several verses for an undisclosed amount of tracks.
Working with Kanye, and hearing an advanced copy of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, helped Soulja Boy to different creative possibilities he can attempt with his own music.
We got in the studio: me, Kanye and Kid Cudi. That was dope, Soulja Boy told AllHipHop.com. He played some dope beats and we worked around a couple of samples and got a couple verses in. I listened to the finished product that Kanye is on, and that really opened my mind. I don’t even want to say as a rapper, but as a musician. It really opens your mind to different sounds and drum kicks.
With the music still in the vaults, and Kanyes album tracklist confirmed, the next logical question is whether Kanye and Souljas work will be showcased in an upcoming G.O.O.D. Friday drop. Kanyes celebrated series runs until January, and has already featured artists ranging from Charlie Wilson and Keri Hilson, to Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj.
We’ll have to see, Soulja said with the laugh of someone caught red-handed. There’s been some leaking going on. Kanye was kind of mad about that. Wait for those Fridays…
Soulja Boys third solo album, The DeAndre Way, is set to be released on November 30.
(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj will sit down with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez for her first ever radio interview during the Hot 97 VIP Lounge with Angie Martinez. The private event, which is being held at a secret location, is aimed at giving fans of Nicki Minaj an insiders look at her life, career and future plans. The “win-your-way-in event” will feature a performance by Nicki Minaj, who will also preview tracks off of her upcoming debut album Pink Friday. The live interview between Angie Martinez and Nicki Minaj takes place on November 19th, while her album Pink Friday is due in stores November 22nd. Atlanta rapper Lil Jon will hold down the party scene in the city of Las Vegas, with a new DJ residency starting at the end of this month. Lil Jon, who is also known for DJ’ing and hosting parties, will take over as the resident DJ at Surrender nightclub. The producer/rap star will host Surrender’s weekly event “Surrender Your Wednesdays,” which take place inside of the Encore resort. Lil Jon’s first set is slated to take place on November 24th.
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has canceled a November 26th performance on the Today show, because the Chicago emcee is in the middle of a feud with the show’s host, Matt Lauer. Kanye accused Lauer of attempting to “force his answers” and was upset when the show played archived footage of his encounters with Taylor Swift and former President George W. Bush as he attempted to answer questions. The interview, which was shown on Thursday (November 11th), was followed up with a short segment by Lauer defending his interviewing tactics and denied doing anything “improper.” Im not performing on the Today show for obvious reasons,” Kanye West tweeted last night (November 11th). “Im so happy the world got to see just a small piece of the set up.”
