Eight-years ago today, the Hip-Hop community lost one of its important members, Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell.Jay was a founding member of pioneering Hip-Hop group, Run-DMC. The world-famous DJ was shot and killed at point-blank range in his recording studio 24/7 in Hollis, Queens, on October 30th, 2002. The death of Jam Master Jay set of a frenzy of speculation as to who would murder such an iconic figure, in cold blood. The rumor mill pointed fingers at everyone and every possible scenario: * Jay was killed by a childhood associated named Curtis Scoon, over a deal involving Rolex watches. * Jay was allegedly dealing drugs. * Jay was killed for associating with 50 Cent, who was enemies with Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, who supposedly had a contract out on Jam Master Jay’s life. The theory everyone focused on centered around a group of Jam Master Jay’s close friends, the people in the recording studio the night Jam Master Jay was gunned down. Fans and family members are hoping the NYPD or the FBI can get it right for once and find a cold blooded killer, who robbed the world of a father, brother, uncle and DJ who was adored by millions of fans around the world. (AllHipHop News) Tameka “Tiny” Cottle will face a felony drug possession charge in Los Angeles, after she was arrested on September 1st with her husband, rap star T.I.Cottle was a passenger in a Maybach being driven by T.I. when police stopped the vehicle. When they allegedly smelled the odor of marijuana, they searched the vehicle’s occupants and found T.I. and Tiny to each be in possession of ecstasy. Both were released on $10,000 bond on September 2nd. On October 15th, T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating the terms of his probation for an October 2007 arrest for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers. Earlier this week, prosecutors dropped the state drug charge against T.I., since he is being punished by the Federal system. T.I. is slated to report to an Arkansas prison on Monday (November 1st). When T.I. was arrested in October of 2007 during the gun fiasco, Tiny was also busted for being in possession of marijuana. If Tiny is convicted, she could face up to one year in prison.

The images show the rapper sitting in a chair or couch shirtless in sunglasses and a chain.
In a separate image, the rappers private area is exposed, according to the New York Daily News.
West has yet to comment on the images that have leaked online.
The bottom half of the uncensored photo, posted as a separate image, reveals West wearing black boxer-briefs with his member exposed.
In the song Runaway, West admitted that hes sent pictures of himself to women.

(AllHipHop News) The Black Eyed Peas have been sued from planiffs that allege that the Hip-Hop/pop group copied I Got a Feeling,” and “Boom Boom Pow, two of their most popular hits.
Both suits were filed on Thursday November 28 in federal courts in Santa Ana and Los Angeles.
A Texas-based songwriter named Bryan Pringle filed the Santa Ana suit and charges his song, “Take a Dive,” was taken deliberately and re-christened I Gotta Feeling.
The Los Angeles lawsuit is a refilling of a previous claim from Chicago rapper Phoenix Phenom (nee Ebony Latrice Batts), and her producer Manfred Mohr. They allege that the Black Eyed Peas infringed on their song Boom Dynamite and made it into Boom Boom Pow.
Like the lawsuit filed in January of 2010, Batts claims that The Black Eyed Peas stole portions of her song “Boom Dynamite” and reused them in their worldwide hit single, “Boom Boom Pow.”Both Pringle and Batts are now represented by Dean A. Dickie of Miller Canfield, Ira Gould of Gould Law Group and George Hampton IV of HamptonHolley LLP. “Both Complaints allege that the Defendants UMG Recordings, Interscope Records and members of the Black Eyed Peas engaged in a pattern and practice of intentional copyright infringement with respect to the unlawful copying of songs of unknown or lesser-known artists. It is public knowledge that there have been multiple copyright infringement cases or claims brought against the Black Eyed Peas within the last year, and they are referred to in the Complaint,” said Dickie. “A simple listening to the songs will expose them as having been copied and being ‘substantially similar’– the legal standard in copyright infringement cases.”
UMG Recordings and Interscope Records are included in the Los Angeles complaint.
Both lawsuit request damages, past and future profits, credits and royalty payments.
