Although Drake is currently winning with the success of both his album Views and the single off the project “One Dance”, there’s already a new version of the song on the internet.
Popcaan recently premiered a new version of “One Dance” during his set at RedBull Culture Clash in London.
The new edition of the song was dropped after the dancehall singer’s DJ group, Mixpack, won the Culture Clash competition, which also happened to feature four other DJ groups including Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang collective.
Compared to it’s original version, the new “dubplate” of “One Dance” includes a verse where Drake shows love for Popcaan.
The song is currently number one in both the US and UK, and because Popcaan is featured on the writing credits for Views, it only made sense that Drake made a version showing the respected dancehall singer some love.
