According

to the latest Study released, 60 percent of music lovers that

download songs have bought recordings from a retail outlet after

hearing the songs online. The survey, which polled almost 17,000

people, was conducted by Yankelovich Partners. The survey also

found that 4 out of 5 people would spend more on music if they

could buy it instantly. Under half of the people polled said they

use Internet access to find music that is not broadcast on local

radio stations. The survey also found that on average, the people

listened to music about 10 hours a week, and spent at least 25

dollars on music in the past 6 months.
