Big Tigger was arrested over the weekend following what appears to have been a deeply unfortunate domestic incident involving his wife and, potentially, their children. This is not an easy place to be in. Tigger has always been a cool dude and, for a generation, “one of those ones” for Hip-Hop culture. Right now, many of the details remain unclear. So, let the facts play out before rushing to judgment.
There are multiple news reports available that outline the specifics of the arrest and the events that allegedly led up to it. What we do know is that Big Tigger is maintaining his innocence. He put this IG:

Tigger’s wife has reportedly pushed back against some of the public narratives surrounding the case. She has stated that she never labeled him an “abuser” and distanced herself from some of the allegations. But, it seems the damage was done.
Still, the visuals she posted fueled tons of speculation, judgement and debate. That is not to suggest guilt. It simply explains why the arrest has generated so much attention and also concern. Allegations are not due process.

Big Tigger has remained relatively quiet. But, the message feels like it reinforces his position that he has done nothing wrong. Or is innocent. As you know, the state can take on a case even if the alleged victims are quiet or recant. They are going to do what they can to protect a woman and kids. They definitely do not want to be responsible in any way of things go south later. But for them to arrest him as opposed to a restraining order says a lot.
