Will and Jaden Smith Reunite with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro in London

Television audiences in the UK were surprised when Will and Jaden Smith, reunited with The Fresh Prince of Bel Air co-stars, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro to perform classics from the hit comedy series.

The father and son duo, made a guest appearance on popular BBC program, The Graham Norton Show on Friday night [24 May].

During the interview, chat show host, Graham Norton, asked the Smiths about collaborating together on a record.

Will replied that the family have a built-in studio at home and a collaborative project may happen in the future. Norton then persuaded the Smiths to perform a freestyle for the live audience.

This was followed with Will performing the theme tune to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, before inviting DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro [aka Carlton Banks] on stage for the coup de grace.

Earlier in the week, Trey Smith, Will’s eldest son, made his DJ debut at London nightclub, Bijous. Will, Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro attended the event.

how did Jaden re-unite with Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso? He never worked with them

Some of these articles just don’t have any logic to them.

    • I’m pretty sure they both knew Jayden…..before Jayden knew himself.

reunite was the wrong word. To “reunite” you have to have had ties, whether personal or professional after being apart right? Jaden is 14. Fresh prince had been over damn near 5 years by then. just my opinion

      • Making it 20 yrs?

So who needs the bread more, Will ($20Mil) Smith (Jayden & Jayden’s Bodyguard, Nanny & Driver included) or his childhood, West Philly homie, DJ Jazzy Jeff, that Will started with & Carlton, that helped propel Will into $20 Mil, and whose only other job was the star of “The Tap Dance Kid” before being replaced by Savion Glover ?

Obviously Will did it for them.

So there is personal ties, and they extend well before Jayden’s birth. They are probably cool with Will’s other son & Baby Mom.

In Beverly Hills, outside of TV, I doubt Carlton, or Jeff can afford to run in Will’s circles…..even though it’s obvious that Will would rather run with them.

You young cats on here are not old enough to remember when hip-hop was about fun and good times.
If you were then you would appreciate a master performer at work. But since you are looking for “street” in everything related to rap, then you lose out.
Will Smith: perhaps the best entertainer hip-hop has ever seen – and that’s word to Doug E. Fresh!

  • Great show. I love it.

  • Fugg Will Smith!

He should retire with his rich @$$! He just ‘chetted on 90% of today’s MC’s, with this BS performance, that doesn’t even count as a show.

Jayden ripped it, Jazzy Jeff ropped it, even Carlton, with his signature white people dance, ripped it!

    SMDH!

Will is & always will be the MuddaChuckin’ man!
I believe he will be the first “BLACK president eventually. (2020)

*As opposed to the “illegal” African American.

    Philly in Da’ HOUSE!!!!!!!!!

Will Smith kicked down doors for many rapperz!

G.O.A.T. level on the commercial tip.
He never crossed over, it’s just that once he got in his lane, he stayed in it, put the pedal to the metal & broke off the rear view mirror!( * = No Looking Back )

    Legendary hip-hop greatness on display.
A lot of you young cats on here are not old enough to remember when hip-hop was about fun and good times.

And let me add that in an era when so many rappers don’t raise their own kids (and are jockeying for reality TV show’s about their baby mamas and messed up families), Will’s giving his son on-the-job-training on how to rock a crowd and respect the art form that he helped to build.
And that’s the truth dot com.
