I really love what Plies stands for and represents. Prior to the real testament his original records were solid and he is maturing as an artist. He is intelligent and really true to his word. Support Plies people .... if not for his talent alone for the fact that he is genuine.

I truly admire Plies.  I was a fan before, but it's when I hear all the good things he does outside of being a rapper that touch me.  He is a rapper who really is on top of his game, but he stilll recognizes that there are people who don't live like he does and people who need money and only dream of living like most celebrities do.  I think it's proof by his actions that he is the definition of real to his heart and that is why I am a bigger fan of him as not only an artists as a person and my love for him and support grows on a daily baisis.  He is real and entertainers like him don't come around everyday.  Congrats on his current career and even more well wishes for his future.  He is what the industry should be about. He's a real stand up guy and unlike most, he has a heart and being humble as he is will get him far.

I sifted through all them different versions of the carter 3 at Best Buy just to buy Plies album. Id rather hear the truth from a non-lyrical standpoint than some "martian" bullshit from a lyrical standpoint. That song "somebody loves you" iz one of the most powerful tracks i heard in a while just like "100 Years" was on the last album. How can any person not respect that?

Plies is THAT DUDE! None of that publicity stunt, Fake Beef, Cartoon Character type shyt. I agree with most of you Plies is definitely NOT a lyrical dude but I can respect him for what he represents.. ALOT of these rappers/ or people who have the financial means to make a difference and give back need to take note. It's not about what or how much you have it's what u do with it!

I def. peeped that he was deep in the interviews, I mean the magazine articles.  I'd hear him talking about putting on shows for the prisons and reaching out to ppl in the prisons and respect it. But then I'd always wonder how somebody so deep and insightful could make songs about women so shallow, and pass 'em off as love songs. And why he felt Buss It Baby was so flattering, when I felt the songs were about what he loves about how she hooks him up sexually. But, damn, Plies def. has the meaning of passing blessings on to others when HE himself has been blessed, goin against the grain of the selfishness pumped into Hip-Hop ("I got this and ya'll niggas is BROKE!!") He def. made me more open to hearing his music.
