DJ Khaled’s ‘Major Key’ Dethrones Drake’s ‘Views’ As #1 Album

THE MIAMI-BASED ENTERTAINER EARNS HIS FIRST #1 LP

(AllHipHop News) DJ Khaled has finally earned a #1 album.

The Miami-based entertainer’s latest LP Major Key pushed enough units to take the pole position on the Billboard 200.

Major Key earned 95,000 equivalent album units in its first week (59,000 album sales).

That sales plus streaming total landed Khaled above his Apple Music counterpart Drake on the album chart.

Champagne Papi’s Views had spent 12 nonconsecutive weeks in the top spot.

The set dropped just 5% to fall to #2. Drake’s fourth studio album collected around 80,000 SPS units.

Major Key has a feature by the OVO leader on the song “For Free.” Khaled’s collection also includes appearances by Jay Z, Future, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and others.
