Cam’ron Releases Damon Dash Diss Track With Dance Challenge, Damon Replies

Cam'ron and Damon Dash

Cam’ron drops a diss track called “Do The Dusky” today with shots at Damon Dash’s teeth, eye patch, and finances.

Cam’ron is dropping a diss track called “Do The Dusky” at 5 P.M. ET today, and it’s packed with shots aimed directly at Damon Dash.

While the song functions as a dance record with a Hawaiian suit theme, the Harlem rapper layered in multiple disses targeting the Roc-A-Fella co-founder, ranging from references to Dash’s teeth falling out on social media to his eye patch worn after surgery.

The preview clip Cam posted on Instagram featured Dash dancing with footage of homeless people cut into the visuals, making the mockery impossible to miss.

The two Harlem natives go back decades. Dash brought Cam into Roc-A-Fella Records back in 2001, and together they built something massive.

Cam’s Come Home With Me era produced hits like “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma,” establishing him as one of the label’s biggest artists.

But success created tension. When Dash allegedly floated the idea of making Cam a VP, it rubbed Hov the wrong way.

After a series of business disputes, Dash eventually parted ways with Roc-A-Fella, but the two still occasionally worked together, most notably on Dash’s 2018 film “Honor Up.”‘

Recent tensions escalated when Cam got involved with 50 Cent on a “Paid In Full” adaptation series, and Dash publicly reacted negatively to the move because 50 Cent had been ruthlessly trolling him.

Cam’s been firing back with jokes about Dash’s dental situation and financial struggles, while Dash defended himself by claiming he got implants and calling Cam’s teeth “cheap.”

Ma$e and Cam even tried to buy Dash’s one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella for $1 million, but Dash allegedly turned it down after NBA YoungBoy supposedly offered $2 million.

It was eventually sold to the state of New York to cover Damon Dash’s massive back tax bill.

Beyond the diss track, Cam’s running a dance challenge with real money on the line. He’s giving away $1,500 to one person and $3,000 to the best group of three or more people who nail the “Dusky Dance.”

In typical Cam fashion, he threw in a joke: “Yo Dame you should enter you probably have the best chance to win and I know u need the money.”

Winners will be announced on May 31 during the final episode of “Talk With Flee” for the month.
