Monday evening (Nov. 1), Chrisette Michele exclusively spoke with AllHipHop correspondent, Tiy Hampton. She was in Manhattan at the 40 / 40 club for Erron Lee’s release party for his latest project, Basquiat: The Separation. The charming chanteuse would pry herself away from the celebration to open up about a series of topics.
When speaking about her pending project, Steady, the recently engaged entrepreneur explained the album’s concept.“Steady is a tribute to what I’ve done over the last 10 years.” The Grammy award-winning singer/songerwriter soon added, “It’s been a long journey. I think a lot of people misinterpret humility for weakness. I just kinda want people to know that I’m cool; I’m good!”
