Lil Meech

Get the scoop on Lil’ Meech’s journey as the lead in the hit TV show BMF. Discover the surreal experience of portraying his father’s rise to power in organized crime.

We have reached the part of the proverbial chat in which Lil’ Meech aka Demetrius Flenory Jr enters his third season as the lead of a hit television show, BMF, which tells the story of his father and uncle’s rise to power in organized crime before he was born.

Surreal is a strong enough word to describe the experience, if we’re being honest.

But Flenory appears to be handling it quite well.

As season 3 premieres we find the brothers, played by Lil’ Meech and Da’Vinchi, temporarily going their separate ways as Big Meech heads down to Atlanta to expand their enterprise and Terry aka Southwest T remains in Detroit.

In “real life” this is a critical part of their harrowing tale that leads to the incredible expansion and eventual demise of what they built seemingly overnight.

Recently, AllHipHop was able to get Lil’ Meech to slow down for a spell and discuss his evolution as an actor, how the arc of the story of BMF will change, as well as the career option that he tried and failed at before 50 Cent reached out to him and made an offer he most certainly could no refuse-to star in a series as his incarcerated father.

Lil’ Meech also appeared on the hit HBO series Euphoria of which he is a fan. He maintains he’s on his way to being a real thespian.

“This is what I know. This is what I’m supposed to be doing. Once I started getting comfortable in the first and second seasons, I knew that I could handle my job. Not just do the role, but embody it,” Lil’ Meech told AllHipHop. “I want people to know that I really went to acting school and buckled down and focused. This is something I really want to do. This is not something that I am just trying. I wanted to show people that I could really act.”
