(AllHipHop News) Legendary director Ron Howard and Showtime will be releasing his documentary of the making of Jay-Z’s Made In America concert on October 11th.
The documentary will deliver a psuedo “backstage pass” to the event with interviews with the performers on their sets and how they made it in America. This year’s performers include Nine Inch Nails, Beyonce, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore and a plethora of others.
This is not the first time Jay Z has worked with Showtime on video content of music performances. Back in 2003, Jay Z live broadcasted his Feb. 22 concert in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ron Howard will premiere the documentary on Sept. 7 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
