Lupe Fiasco- SLR 2 [Response To Kendrick Lamar, Calls Him A Baby]

Lupe Fiasco has honed the anger exhibited on Twitter towards Kednrick’s “Control” verse into a virtuoso lyrical performance with “SLR 2”.

Kendrick is not the only one who gets caught in Lu’s lyrical crossfire and makes direct criticism of Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail:

Took two sips of the holy grail/Then I backed up and I turned around/And I bent over and pittoo’d sh*t/I love Jay, that’s my n*gga/I feel sicker than a cruise ship

Hip-Hop Rumors: Does Chief Keef Wish He Was Named By Kendrick Lamar?

There have been a few online funnies created in the name of Chief Keef. Check em out:

But, maybe there is a bit of truth to it. Keef tweeted an obscure line the other day that seemed to suggest he felt a way about the whole back and forth that Kendrick Lamar created.

But, the boy Keef ain’t the only one. A lot of rappers, especially NYers, are saying that Kendrick either knew who to name and who not to name or “why you ain’t say me?” Its a funny underlying theme.

So, click here to listen to another Chi-Town rap Lupe Fiasco’s response, which was pretty good and different.

But its probably good that Kendrick didn’t say Keef, because the result would be something beyond rap.

“They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!” -illseed.

Meek Mill Talks Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” Verse, Magna Carta Holy Grail & Upcoming Projects (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) While Meek Mill has yet to respond on wax to Kendrick Lamar calling him out on Big Sean’s “Control,” he did speak with Power 99 about K. Dot’s verse.

“With some Hip Hop you like alright bet. Put your vest on cause I’ma throw some shots too, have some fun with it. That’s what Hip Hop is about,” said the Maybach Music Group rapper.

Meek also talks about his favorite tracks off Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail and his plans to release a another solo project in the near future.

(AllHipHop News) Last month Taylor Gang leader Wiz Khalifa announced that he was partnering with Converse for his own line of sneakers. Photos of the Wiz Khalifa Collection by Converse have now emerged. The line will be available at Foot Locker stores on August 23rd.

Love and Hip Hop Star Tahiry Jose To Appear In New Movie ‘King of Paper Chasin’ 2’

(AllHipHop News) Love and Hip Hop: New York reality star and former Joe Budden girlfriend Tahiry Jose has been cast in the upcoming movie King of Paper Chasin’ 2: Certified. Jose will take on the role of “Kim” in the continued story of a former drug dealer trying to succeed in the rap game.

“I am beyond grateful for this amazing opportunity to enter into the world of acting by joining the cast of King Of Paper Chasin’ 2: Certified,” said Tahiry. “Ever since I was young girl, it has always been my dream to be on the big screen, so when I was asked to be a part of this movie, I jumped at the chance! I see so much of myself in the role of Kim — a loyal, strong, and honest woman that most men say they want, but are oftentimes intimidated by. I am planning on bringing my A-game to this project!”

The original King Of Paper Chasin’ is currently being licensed to Showtime and Netflix. Filmmakers are seeking funding for the project through a $250,000 Kickstarter campaign until September 4th. Rewards include advanced screening invitations in various cities, pictures with the cast and crew, on-set tours, and DVD copies of the film.

Chris Brown Being Sued Over Fight With Frank Ocean

(AllHipHop News) It has been a pretty difficult week for R&B singer Chris Brown. The “Love More” performer suffered a non-epileptic seizure last Friday, and now Billboard reports he being sued for assault and battery.

The lawsuit was filed by a man named Sha’keir Duarte who claims he was attacked by a member of Brown’s entourage during a scuffle at the Westlake Recording Studios back in January.

The fight allegedly began when Brown and fellow singer Frank Ocean got into an argument over a parking spot. According to TMZ, Duarte is Ocean’s cousin.

Duarte says that he was punched and kicked by Brown’s bodyguard “Hood,” and that Brown instigated the assault by telling the bodyguard to attack him. He is now asking for an unspecified amount in damages for his injuries, humiliation, and mental anguish.

“This is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is garbage like this,” said Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos.
