(AllHipHop News) It was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened – Mel Gibsons racist rant has been turned into a song by noted West coast rapper Ras Kass. Ras Kass has recorded an unofficial 2:56-minute single titled Why You Be Dressin Like That featuring Mel Gibson. The veteran rap wordsmith rapping over a club beat with Mel Gibsons infamous rants towards his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva , cleverly sampled in. The track also features an accompanying YouTube.com video, complete with a montage of pictures of Mel Gibson throughout his career, set to Ras Kass song. In addition to some humorous punch lines in the song, Ras Kass shoots a few bars at Mel Gibson for his racist, sexists rants and threatens to throw Mad Max into the trunk. Yesterday, the website dropped a new 8:00 minute tirade featuring the actor ranting and panting at Grigorieva , Gibsons former girlfriend, with whom he has a seven-month-old daughter. Grigorieva went to the police earlier this month, claiming Gibson physically abused her when he punched her in the face and knocked out her two front teeth – while she was allegedly holding their child. Today, a brand new 6:03 clip dropped featuring Mel Gibson in a rage, calling Grigorieva a variety of curse words, in addition to referring to his Mexican servant as a wet back in one nasty exchange. Mel Gibson is currently being investigated on domestic violence charges. As for Ras Kass, recently released another official Hip-Hop single titled Release Yourself and Attitudes 2012 featuring Royce Da 59. Ras is preparing a new album titled A.D.I.D.A.S. with DJ Rhettmatic. The project will feature guests appearances from Xzibit, David Banner, Royce Da 59, Strong Arm Steady, Jean Grae and others.

While Tacklebox, a recent Cool Kids mixtape burns up the net this summer, both Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish are still working on their new album that has been nearly two years in the making. Since releasing a series of fishing themed mixtapes with Don Cannon and now the L.A. Leakers, this Chicago duo has kept the interest of fans, despite label issues that would sideline any rapper. But now after learning the game and what it takes to make it in the industry, touring worldwide in support of their previous records and fighting with their record label for year the past two years, Chuck and Mickey are ready to make their current situation work and to reach their goals. Take a look at this sit down between AllHipHop.com and The Cool Kids and how their legacy is poised for progression and ascendance from the ashes of a lawsuit that nearly forced the group to change their name. AllHipHop.com: One of the main things we wanted to talk to you about was this Tacklebox project thats following up all of these Cannon mixtapes.Chuck Inglish: Well you know I met DJ Sour Milk a while back when I did a show out in L.A. back at the beginning of 08, maybe it was the end of 07 or some type s**t. But, we became cool and we always kept in touch and we knew his friend Mando from Power 106. They were just cool dudes and they had the late night Hip-Hop show, I was just feeling him. Then around the time when we were doing all the DJ Cannon mixtapes, Sour Milk was saying we should put out a mixtape, like an L.A. Leakers one. This time we were really trying to come back and establish what we started. We werent bulls**tting, we werent taking any breaks, we were just in a bulls**t ass situation with our old label from the last two years and with our old label and this really drawn out lawsuit, and thats s**t has just been putting a damper on s**t. Thats really why we have been taking time and releasing new songs for mixtapes. Its not like we are bulls**tting, its just that this is one of the only ways we can connect with the fans. We got ideas, its just like everything we try to do gets stopped. AllHipHop.com: Tacklebox seems to have more of a laid back feel, kind just with the beats and all that. You know?Chuck Inglish: Yea its more like mood music, kind of like how we feel right now. The album is kind of more like . I dont want to say we mad, but its kind of like. (Pause) . But its like . n***a yall know whats up. You know what Im saying? We not really trying to say anything like, people forget about y’all, or everyone took our s**t. Its cool y’all can have that s**t. Im not even making that anymore. We are trying to do what hasnt been thought of yet. When we sit back and chip away at a song and we can sit back and listen to it we are like, we bout to f**k n***as up with this. Thats the best part of it. And I know for a fact that we took it there. Know I dont even know how we are bout to do the second album because we took like .. the best s**t we could possibly think of and thought of and put it on this record.AllHipHop.com: There is a quote on the Internet in the Chicago Tribune that says you are the self described Black Beastie Boys.” Can you just talk about that and why you guys would say that or maybe how they influenced you?Chuck Inglish: I mean it was a line Mikey dropped in a song. And it was just like; I guess that was just our calling card. Thats just how we felt when we first started. We really wasnt here to get people to like us. We were just like, f**k y’all. But we wasnt gonna tell you that. We just gonna make yall nod your head and party, you know what Im saying? We were in a scene when we came out, where there was no real rap. You know what Im saying? We would come out, you know what Im saying, with our lil stripped down beat, EPMD-esque routine that we had, when we first started out at punk rock shows. We was just like, f**k it, if we can make them like it then we can make everyone like it.AllHipHop.com: So there has been some talk about changing the name of the group, due to some of the label issues. Can you talk about that?Chuck Inglish: At the time we were just frustrated with s**t, but it was a good idea under the Print Act, it seems like it could get us out of the deal, on the name. We were willing to part ways with the name, but the way we felt it wouldnt have mattered what we changed our name to. It wasnt like we dont respect what we started under that name and the reputation that the name has. Its not like we were desperate, but just fed up, and its just like in our attempts to try and avoid the major label bulls**t and just bad paperwork and its always like someone that thinks they are slick. And they always catch you slipping. It just a bad look, just a bad look. I dont know how else to put it. Hopefully one day we will look back and think that one-day it was for a reason. But this has just put us through all types of s**t. It kind of just made me and him more connected, on the level of what we need to do. It didnt draw no tension, it made our minds work a little bit harder, and kind of realize that less is more in a time when everything is so instant.AllHipHop.com: I heard you mentioned that you might do a potential box set, for this theme you guys have going on now.Chuck Inglish: Yea man a lot of this s**t is related and its not for no reason. People are simple as f**k sometimes. They are like, Why do you have Gone Fishing, now Tacklebox? You want to always be able to maximize whatever you do and give it to people so that people want to pay for it. Dont nobody give a f**k about a CD. But it doesnt mean that they wont buy music. Theres iPads now, iPhones, people can video chat. This is the real future. People are stupid sometimes and everyone is comfortable as f**k. When that s**t hits theres going to be so many unprepared people. Im not trying to live in the old day and think about how good it was when I was young, when I can make today good.
In part two of AllHipHop.coms cross examination of Chicagos Cool Kids, Mikey Rocks tells us about what it was like going through the label trouble over the past few years and the excitement he has for his upcoming project. AllHipHop.com: Chuck was telling me about how you guys have been just putting out mixtapes because you guys got caught up in a little bit of label trouble. Can you talk about the situation from your perspective?Mikey Rocks: Yea we were some younger cats. I would say 07. We were 18 or 19, excited about the music and someone was talking about furthering the music and helping us build and someone decided to take advantage of our excitement and us being kids and good hearted dudes trusting that someone would do right by you especially if you are friends. But we got into a little independent label situation where a lot of money was stolen from us and we dont want to put out anything to sell or the dude is going to make money off the earnings. We are just trying to finish out this legal situation and show our fans how we are progressing. That situation should all be over soon though. I dont know what some of the cats are going to do out here but its all a go for us man. Im just waiting.AllHipHop.com: As much as that sucks it is still kind of like good music sometimes comes through adversity and maybe or at least hopefully in the long run you can look back and say that it was in some ways positive. Mikey Rocks: I think that we definitely had to up our skill at a faster pace because we got to fight this s**t and put out the best stuff we can at least at this time. And we had to up our skills at a faster pace because we dont get to stay afloat with the big pub and magazine features and all that s**t. That s**t comes with an album, and they dont really f**k with you unless you put out an LP. We just putting out mixtapes and stuff and we just got to trump the competition and try to sound as good as we can as quick as we can while we wait for the legal situation to be over. It kept us from getting into anything that was dumber than this and signed to a major label that would have gave us the shaft harder. So I guess everything happens for a reason. AllHipHop.com: Can you talk about how you guys work collectively and how this project is coming together?Mikey Rocks: Well with this album, we were allowed to use more instruments, different studios and it was just us in a college apartment f**king around in the closet with a microphone. With this we have been able to expand and to add more instruments and dimensions to the music. Using more equipment and we are not limited by the outreach. I think this will be a lot deeper and more colorful than the last joint.AllHipHop.com: I know you guys are really using some crazy instruments, tell me about some of the instruments and keyboards you guys are using for this project.Mikey Rocks: Man its live trumpet dudes, who we have play and then we sample how we want to chop it. Old synthesizers and leads and moog voicers, and stupid s**t that you dont ever see. Using different studios and sounds there is so much that we are trying to experiment with this time. Different vocalists and its just a lot more fun this time. AllHipHop.com: Anything else you can tell me about this upcoming album? Any features or unexpected surprises?Mikey Rocks: Ah man, we definitely got some of the homies on this one. I dont know if Chuck gave any names, so I dont want to say anything man. (Laughs) Man, we trying to keep this little mystique going on, but its not us alone this time. You gonna see some of our homies on there. AllHipHop.com: Yall got Bun B on there?Mikey Rocks: Aye man I dont want to give it away, he might be on there (laughs). Theres definitely some features on there to get people excited and I am definitely excited about whose on there. Cant say too much though man. AllHipHop.com: Haha, well then tell me more about Tacklebox.Mikey Rocks: Yea man its just a mixtape that we wanted to put out for the summertime. We just threw them on there to get people hype and we got some of the older joints that we throw on there and its been getting a pretty good response. It might have been some conformed haters that might have started to join our side.We are trying to get to the point where the music is undeniable. We want to get to the point were you cant deny us man. We just wanted to make Tacklebox so we can convert a few haters over and have everybody aware of where we are at. I think we are gonna slap the people in face with this project. I am usually a pessimistic dude, but I am excited about this one and I think its going to be good.

G-UNIT BEATDOWN PLANS TO SUE 50 CENT?
I hope the person is at least smart enough to know that he was dumb to get on stage and charge at 50. So, the latest rumor floating around is that the fan was trying to show his doting love and affection is going to sue. I dont know exactly how 50s security works, but I know that they take threats seriously. And that dude probably caught a beat down like no other when he ran on the stage at 50 in Brazil. I guess that warrants a lawsuit. I doubt that his money is long enough to really do anything significant.
TOM AND WILL GET SOME FOOD
Mr. BIG SPENDER, JAY-Z.
I dont know what £100 is in American dollars, but that is what Jay-Z reportedly tipped a nice waiter that tended to him and Beyonce at a romantic dinner in London. They dined at Scott’s seafood restaurant and he was happy a the service so he gave the dude a big tip. I have a tip, check the seafood for tar balls. Anyway, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports, “Jay-Z certainly seemed to be inspired by the atmosphere and the sexy food because he looked like he couldn’t wait to get Beyonce out of there and take her home. The waiters were pretty happy with their tip too.”
Multi-millionaire Jay Z is not the only celebrity to show his generosity.

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop star Missy Elliott is facing pressure to scrap a planned gig in Israel slated to take place this week. Missy Elliott is slated to hit the stage at Gane HaTaarucha in Tel Aviv on Thursday, July 15th, for her first ever performance in Israel. But her appearance has prompted Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East, to create an online boycott of her proposed performance, due to the ongoing land dispute between the Israelis and the Palestinians.According to sources, the proposed boycott is not working well, as ticket sales are almost completely sold out. The bill also features popular Israeli funk/rap band, Hadag Nahash.A number of prominent artists have canceled performances in Israel in recent months, including Carlos Santana, Bono/U2, Gil-Scott Heron, The Pixies and Elvis Costello, in support of a Palestinian boycott against the country. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel was established in 2004, to protest the Israelis occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. A number of artists have also ignored calls to avoid performing in Israel, including Paul McCartney, Leonard Cohen and Madonna. To view the proposed boycott letter, click here.
New Orleans Curren$y has without question been one of the most prolific emcees over the last 2 years. Since 2008, he has dropped 9 mixtapes and 2 albums. Even more amazing than the sheer output has been the consistent quality of these offerings. As his popularity has risen, Curren$y has recognized the need to transition his talents to the more structured discipline of creating memorable albums. With Pilot Talk, he seeks to streamline the work began with his debut (This Aint No Mixtape) and the sophomore LP (Jet Files).
A staple of Curren$y mixtapes are engaging intros usually accompanied by a lush sample. The tradition is continued here with Example, which kicks off with a screeching 80s power ballad guitar riffs. Spitta speaks on his career being an example of what is possible when people pursue their dreams. Its a nice teaser; nothing too heavy on the lyrical or production side but intrigues the listener for what is to come. Audio Dope II has slower drums than the original, which complements the drugged out theme. But the track still has life due to being surrounded with a rolling steel pan melody, and Spitta framing his rhymes around his art being an addictive narcotic (Audio dope we track-trafficking/And they asking for more/Is you back again?”).
Curren$y gets a song-stealing cameo from Snoop Dogg on Seat Change. Ski Beatz supplies a perfect Funkadelic guitar-infused rhythm to accentuate Snoops trademark flow (Artistically in the midst of me/Im mystically and magical/The way I form the group/And make it smooth/I mean cuz my s### is like classical). Mos Def delivers the first non Ski-Beatz exclusive beat with a modified version of Breakfast. The dominant brass instruments from the original are lowered to give Curren$ys low-key voice a stronger presence. But just as the track appears to get going its over; Spitta only has one verse and Mos Def strangely begins crooning the chorus from the Karate Kid song Youre the Best Around.
The LPs second half is overrun with guest spots, but for the most part they do not diminish the quality. Young Roddy and Trademark da Skydriver round out Monsta Beatz melodic Roasted, which will remind you of the dozens of songs from the trios mixtape blitz in 2008. One of the best collaborations is due to newcomer Big K.R.I.T. on Skybourne. The Mississippi emcee excels not due to the complexcity of his rhyme schemes, but through a conversational and authoritative flow that is reminiscent of T.I.s early albums.
Mos Def and Jay Electronicas appearances on The Day warrant an East Coast boom bap beat from Ski Beatz. The collective has chemistry and already appear to be a capable super-group. Mos handles chorus duties and Electronica gives a quick history lesson using Hip-Hop legends to explain his direction (Always call a s#### a s####/Be like Chuck D/Never be like Flava Flav I pray this flow is dumb enough/I pray my heart is Rev. Run and DMC enough ).
Prioritize (Beeper Bill) is one of the big album highlights. Its urgent pace breaks the chill mode that defines most of the album, and manifests an aggressive Curren$y. As weve heard on his mixtapes the chorus is a reference to an influence, this time a appropriated Big Boi line from Aquemini ( If you aint got not rims n#### dont get no wood grain steering wheel/But you can lay back and let your paper stack/Instead of going into overkill pay your f###### beeper bill b####!). Although Curren$ys lifestyle is tailor made for laid back weed anthems, hes very adept at spitting out faster-paced bars and should make a point to showcase it more.
The one humorous moment comes courtesy of Devin the Dude, who contemplates the merits of condom recycling on Chilled Coughpee. At a little over 2 minutes its more interlude than actual song, and that fact helps prevent the outrageous imagery from becoming overkill (I never cooked coke on the stove top/But Im stuffing these nuts up in the guts of a s### no doubt/But its trapped inside a rubber/Should I flush that hoe out to use again?). The airy production of Address works well with Curren$ys delivery. The track feels like a smoky club nightcap set to music, complete with Spitta crafting the scene ( In the building now Im on the roof chilling/The pool up here/Couple chicks I grew up with/Bottles in the cooler if you dont know how to do it homie Ill school ya ).
What will hurt Pilot Talk for some is the fact that close to half the album was heard beforehand through leaks or appearances on older projects. But the project shows good progression for Curren$y. Hes eliminated the filler issue that bogged down This Aint a Mixtape, and doesnt have the by the numbers feel of Jet Files. While there arent big sonic moments as heard on Smokee Robinson, Pilot Talk is a much more consistent listen that wont have you skipping around for stronger tracks. Spitta is never going to marvel listeners with the diversity or complexity of his lyrics and themes, but he is a rare emcee in these times who actually honestly rhymes about his lifestyle (which for now, consists heavily of women and weed). His hardcore fans would have it no other way, and with Pilot Talk he has an accessible project that even casual listeners can appreciate.

The following editorial was written by Silky Slim, a former gang banger than had seen the way violence has ravaged his hometown of Baton Rouge. Now, Silky speaks on the situation with Lil Boosie, who has recently been accused of hiring hit men to kill on his behalf. The contents of this editorial don’t necessarily reflect the views and opinions of AllHipHop.com. Read on.
At We Shoot First Films, we stand firm on delivering productions to the vast majority that is based on truth. We focus on the current situations that affect the communities that we live in everyday. Our mission is simple “STOP THE KILLING!” The first documentary “To Live and Die In America” was a work inspired by GOD to prevent youth from killing one another and spending a life behind bars. “To Live and Die In America” is a wake up call. We must face the heart gripping reality of the loss of love for one self as well as the loss of compassion for humanity. Something must done about this immediately. We are infested with the modern day KKK! Sounds familiar right? Well let me elaborate. It is the RISE of KIDS KILLING KIDS!
In the past few months, our news in Louisiana as well as across America as been covering the rise and demise of Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch and his affiliates or should we say his so called hit squad. The media has portrayed Lil Boosie and his crew as the new American GangStars. This is as far fetched from the truth as it gets. Even as sad as it sounds the youth that look up to him will get the wrong message. There are many youth that feel they can relate to him and idolize what he displays, because of the lack of self-respect and improper teachings. I know this because I was a product as well. I ran these slave making streets for 22 years of my life mad at the world, doing things without thinking or feeling. I suppressed the feelings of my own lack of knowledge, and became a product of my environment, as we like to call it. I watched many people die. I did a lot of unpleasant things in the sight of my Creator. I was ashamed of what I had become, but God still saved me for this divine purpose. I didn’t understand that if I loved my self as GOD loves us, and knew that I was worthy of great things, I would then be capable of doing great things.
Everyone was in awe when the ages of Lil Boosie alleged hit squad was mentioned. How do you explain or ignore youths killing at the age of 16 and sometimes younger? One of the accused killers, Marlo Mike is now 17, but is alleged to have started his streak at the age of 15 for pocket change. We are living in an age marked by violence and senseless killings. Our youth are lost and in dire need of direction. Poison is being fed to them from the “devilvision” and other sources of media that they strongly rely on daily. The family structure has been torn down. We have to get back to basics. Self-reflection is the beginning. It takes a strong person to look at the man in the mirror. They must realize that what they hate in others often starts with what they hate in themselves. They have to know that they are examples of greatness. They have want it..breathe it..feel it in their veins. I am by no means perfect, but I know there is a better way…GOD! If he saved me think of what he too can do for them.
We at We Shoot First Films, in some miraculous manner, managed to catch most of this senseless killing on film and place you face to face with the victims of this madness. We have interviews of some before they were soon faced with death. You will hear the last words of some victims and what they were experiencing while waiting on death to come for them. You will also experience the ripple effect this epidemic has on the families of both sides of the killings that are left behind. “To Live and Die In Amerikka” is a one of a kind documentary and is likely to be the last of this magnitude. Please join Stop The Killing, Inc. on this journey to empower our youth as well as our communities.
(AllHipHop News) R&B singer Mary J. Blige and popular production team The Clutch which features Keri Hilson, are at the center of a copyright dispute involving Bliges#### single Take Me As I Am. VADO GETS SOME HEAT IN THE STREET?
VADO!!! Hes the new hot boy in the streets, eh? OK, I know my slang is off, but let me say pause real fast. Anyway, Vado (for those that may not know) is Cam’Ron’s new artist. On Friday, he was out in the streets on Fredrick Douglas Ave., on 142st, in Harlem, according to my sources. Apparently, two bald dudes stepped to him over something right in the streets in front of everybody. Nobody could hear what was going on, but their hands were making a lot of movement, leading people to think there was something going on. Apparently, Vado wasnt feeling where they were coming from or didnt take a liking to what they were saying. Then, one of them asked him if he wanted to come around he corner with them. Im not sure who was with Vado or what, but he declined that offer and departed. Seems like somebody tried to shake Vado down for paper on behalf of a certain rapper, who shall remain nameless.
THE REAL REASON LEBRON LEFT CLEVELAND
I never quite understood why Lebron would up and leave his beloved hometown for less money. I get that he wants a championship ring sooner than later, but it just didnt make full sense to me. So, I am being told that the real reason may just go back to that situation with his mother and his fellow ballplayer Delonte.West, I admit that my sources arent so rock solid in this one so this could be a fairy tale, as Jay-Z put it. But, it makes some sense. If the whole team knew what was going on and didnt say something to him, thats cold AND its colder for his teammate to do that. Id leave too, if that even happened. That situation was never confirmed or talked about either.
Nevertheless, Lebron is about to be a beast out in Miami!
SOULJA BOY STOLE PRETTY BOY SWAG!Lil’ dude went in on Soulja Boy!!!!
JAY-Z SAYS, IM NOT DOWN WITH SATAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
People are going to believe what they want, but its definitely interesting that Jay has been listening to all the talk about him and his alleged ties to the world of Free Masonry, Lucifer and general Illuminati-like forces. If you didn’t read it, here is what he said.“N***as couldn’t do nothing with me, they put
the devil
on me. I would have preferred n***as squeeze the metal on me/ Rumors of
Lucifer, I don’t know who to trust/ The whole world wants my demise,
turn the
music up.
“If y’all n***as fear me, just say y’all fear
me. F**k
all these fairy tales/ Go to hell, this is God engineering/ … I said I
was
amazing/ Not that I’m a Mason …/ I’m on my third six, but a devil I’m
not.
…”Do you believe him?!?
TECHN9NE DISSES RAKIM AND KEYSHIA COLE?
This is the most random diss ever. Keyshia refused to perform at a show before Tech and was unaware that he was one of the biggest indie stars I the nation. With Rakim, it was the same thing. Rakim didnt want to to go on before tacky so he didnt show. He told them both to get of your high horse. LOL!
Shout out to Matthew for the link.

(AllHipHop News) An overzealous fan hopped on the stage and suffered the consequences, during a performance featuring 50 Cent and G-Unit in Brazil on Friday (July 9th). Video has hit the internet of the performance, which took place at Wet N’ Wild in Salvador, Brazil, where 50 Cent is currently touring. Mid-way through his performance of “Ayo Technology,” a man hops on the stage attempts to grab 50 Cent. He is quickly pummeled by security offers, while G-Unit cohort Lloyd Banks can be seen striking the man, who is quickly booted from the sage. 50 Cent and G-Unit then resumed their performance of the popular song.
