Schools Denounce J. Cole Video; Seek Ban Over Negative Images

(AllHipHop News) Fayetteville, North Carolina rapper J. Cole has come under fire for a video that features students from Fayetteville State University and a local high school. Students from FSU and EE Smith High School, along with band members, are featured in J. Cole’s latest video “Who Dat.” Officials are so outraged over the language and sexually explicit themes in the video that they are attempting to have the video pulled from the Internet, claiming J. Cole illegally used their high school/college logos. “I think it shows the school and the city in a negative light,” Superintendent Frank Till Jr. said in a statement. “I think it was a legitimate mistake on the school’s part.”Till claimed that E.E. Smith’s Principal Clinton Robinson and the school’s music director signed waivers allowing the students to participate, but the decision was not cleared with higher-ups in the school system.Administrators hoped that the appearances in the local rapper’s video would help bring new members to the school, but due to the video’s explicit themes, Superintendent Till believes it will have opposite effect. “There will be some people who see this video and they won’t see past the language used by that young man,” Till told the Fayetteville Observer. “And they’ll see it as a reflection of the students at E.E. Smith. Their test scores were out of this world this year, but this hangs over that. I think it’s a shame.”J. Cole is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. His debut album October 26th.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Jay-Z Boycotted Chris Brown? Andre 3000 Needs Stacks? Lady Gaga And Dr. Dre?

DISCLAIMER:All content within this section is pure rumor and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have whispered in our ear. Read on.Send your rumors, sightings and ill pics to illseed at al*************@***il.com.

JAY-Z BOYCOTTED THE BET AWARDS?

You probably heard this already and so did I, but I didn’t want to put too much bad smell on the show. BUT the rumor is, Jay-Z didn’t bother to attend the awards because BET decided to hoist Chris Brown back into the limelight via the Michael Jackson dedication. But, that didn’t sit well with Jay-Z or his people (Beyonce and Rihanna) so they weren’t there, according to this rumor. I also heard on the low that’s why Drake beat out Jay-Z in one of those categories they were competing against.

ANDRE 3000 NEEDS SOME STACKS!?

I always wondered what rappers do when they aren’t rapping and performing. In the case of one Andre Benjamin, I wonder even more. I know he had done some things in movies and whatever, but mostly, he’s been quiet. Well, here we go. Dude is back to work, I am hearing. Supposedly, he’s begun to film “Four Brothers 2” with Marky Mark Wahlberg and Tyrese. I suppose we’ll have to wait even longer for the Outkast reunion. OH WELL!!!! More STACKS for THREE STACKS!

DR. DRE TALKS DETOX!

AllHipHop.com got up with Dr. Dre and guess what hew as talking about? You better believe it. Peep the video!

Here is another one. My folks over at thehiphopchronicle.com told me that they got word that Lady Gaga is set to appear on the final version of “Under Pressure” along with Jay-Z. Interscope isn’t confirming or denying so who knows. I can’t really see Jay with Dre with Gaga on that track unless the track changes.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!?

Whoaaaaaaaaaaa! What do you think about this one! I thought the BP Oil tragedy was a dag on STWICTAE, but the waters may run deeper. Somebody is saying the whole thing is a staged environmental tragedy and actually a “land grab” in disguise. Peep this vid and you tell me what you think. Oh, tell me what I think too, because this is crazy beyond belief!

THE GAME WANTS TO RE-FORM THE “OLD” G-UNIT!

The Game is serious. In an AHH Video, he recently stated that it was time to let bygones be bygone with 50 Cent and reform the G-Unit of old. I mean, this isn’t anything new, but dude is saying in other interviews that he is 100% sure that this is a good idea. Obviously, it would be for the money, but I think its a good idea for the music, for 50 and for The Game. Dip Set did it! LETS GET IT and throw Young Buck in there too for good measure!

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

So everybody’s Illuminati now? Drake and Kanye were supposedly reppin’ that illumination? Hmmmm…I wonder if some cats are just playing games.

Illa J, Dilla’s younger brother, is replacing Elzhi in Slum Village, sources say!

BIG R.I.P. to Rammellzee, the legendary Graff writer.

Kat Stacks might be made up, but these a$$ beatings aren’t. Stop hitting the girls!

Exclusive: Luke Campbell Issues Statement On ‘Feud’ With Children

(AllHipHop News) Miami rap legend Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell has come forward to clarify statement he made about his children during a recent interview, in which he referred to them as “sperm donation children.”Luke made the comments to Nnette of the Mad Hatta Show in Houston when he was backstage, during Hot 97’s Birthday Bash in Atlanta on June 19th. “It’s important to practice safe sex and it’s important to not have sex without condoms because you’ll be sperm donating and when you sperm donate to angry mothers then unfortunately it’s about a check,” Luke allegedly stated. “When you get a check, the results of that check ends up where your sperm donation kids are online talking bad about you after you spent millions and millions dollars in child support.”Campbell was responding to comments his daughter Lecretia Campbell made on the Internet, accusing the Miami mogul of being an abusive, dead-beat dad who disowned all but one of his children. According to Luke, his comments were taken out of context and that key points of the video were edited out to sensationalize the comments. Campbell  also accused the Mad Hatta Morning Show of being out of line and acting in bad taste by editing and releasing the video. “My wife and I have and have always had an open door policy to my children as well as many other children.  I am human and I do have feelings,” Luke stated. For these people at the Mad Hatta Show to edit my comments and release them in such a way that makes me appear to be some angry black man who has no love for his children, was way out of line and in bad taste.  I hope that they’ve achieved what they set out to do, at the expense of my private family life, all for some ratings and controversy.”According to Luke, from this point forward, he will no longer speak to the media about his private family matters. Luke’s full letter is below:  I feel that I have to clarify an interview that was taken out of context and edited to stir up controversy involving my family issues. I was in Atlanta at Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash and I was doing interviews.  One interview was conducted by a lady and man from the Mad Hatta Show in Houston.  For the record, this interview was videotaped backstage after I got off stage.  This interview was NOT conducted in a radio station; therefore it should be known that there is a VIDEOTAPED version.  The audio version is the one that was released to all the media outlets and this audio version was EDITED.   First and foremost, I have not and do not do interviews regarding my children and/or family issues however, she continued to ask and speak about something that my daughter had put out on the Internet.   When she asked me how I felt about my daughter speaking bad about me, my comment was “I have no comment, it’s Fathers Day tomorrow and I’m happy to be celebrating with all the Fathers out here”.  She then went on to address specific comments that my daughter made in terms of me not being her father and that her father was some other man.  I then stated “If my kids feel like I’m not their father, then that means that I have only one kid who’s name is Blake and if they feel that way then they want to consider me a sperm donor then so be it.  I then went on to say that I have paid millions of dollars in child support and why their mothers’ would allow them to go online and curse me is just wrong.  I went on to quote a verse from the Bible regarding honor thy mother and father and the only person that could direct their kids to curse their parents is the devil.  For the record, I have paid millions of dollars in support for my children.  The amount of money I pay in child support is way more than necessary to care for a child each month, but at the end of the day it gets paid – what the parents choose to do with it is on them.  I am in now way a deadbeat dad and have never been.  As you can hear by the interview all these points were actually cut out and fashioned to mislead the listening audience and attack my character to make it appear that I’m an uncaring and hateful person. I love my children very much.  I do care about how my children feel about me.  It hurts to know that my children feel the way that they do however; I can do nothing but ask for God’s help.  Not the media and not any other human being.  I don’t know what is going on with my children if they don’t come and talk openly with me about their thoughts and feelings.  My Wife and I have and have always had an open door policy to my children as well as many other children.  I am human and I do have feelings.  For these people at the Mad Hatta Show to edit my comments and release them in such a way that makes me appear to be some angry black man who has no love for his children, was way out of line and in bad taste.  I hope that they’ve achieved what they set out to do, at the expense of my private family life, all for some ratings and controversy. Under no circumstances can anyone judge or question my love for children.  I have worked with children all of my adult life.  I founded the Liberty City Optimist Program.  I mentor children regularly.  I have a football league that has over 5,000 children participating.  I work with kids regularly.  As a matter of fact, the day before the Hot 107 b-day bash, I had just driven a vanload of kids to visit Florida State and University of Florida football camps.  I currently coach at Miami Central and I mentor kids.  The likes of Antonio Brown and Chad Johnson (current NFL players) came through my program.  So NO ONE can question Luther Campbells’ love for kids.  I love my children and all children, but if my children don’t want to have anything to do with me then that is something that I can do nothing about.  Only God can heal their hearts and in the end only God can judge me.  Not no man or woman, only God. For the record, I will make NO further comments about my family life or issues involving my kids.  This is a closed chapter and is not for the media, it’s a private matter to me.

Rapper Snoop Dogg attempted to hire out the entire European country of Liechtenstein as the backdrop for a new video. Snoop] is in Europe touring and wanted to use Liechtenstein, which has a population of about 35,000 residents, but the deal fell through because city officials did not have enough time to accommodate the world famous rappers’ request. “We’ve had requests for palaces and villages but never one to hire the whole country before,” Liechtenstein property agent Karl Schwaerzler told The Daily Mirror. “It would have been possible. (But Snoop Dogg’s management) did not give us enough time.” Tonight, Snoop Dogg will perform in Paris, France. T-Pain will be featured in Anchor Blue’s new “Can You Rock with Anchor Blue?” advertising campaign. The west coast-retailer with 112 stores, will kick off the campaign starting in July for the back-to-school season. The rapper/singer/songwriter will review original submissions for the contest, with the grand prize winner ultimately having his or her song produced by T-Pain. “This is a great opportunity for me to work with some up-and-coming talent, while giving someone a head start in the music business,” says T-Pain. “I’m glad to be partnering up with Anchor Blue and Swag Like Us to make it happen. Who knows what next big artist we’ll uncover!” Demos can be submitted between July 15th and August 26th.  For more information visit Anchor Blue’s official site.
