Big Sean is having the time of his life. With a top record on the charts in Detroit 2, brands are coming to his door-knocking to bask in some of his platinum shine. One of the biggest brands in America is checking for the Detroit-born rapper.
In a special-edition collaboration, “I Don’t F**ck With You” rapper and Budweiser will put out a limited-edition 25-ounce tall-boy only sold in Michigan that will feature a portrait of the star smack dab in the middle of the label.
The beer, called The Big Sean Tall Boys, went on sale on Monday.
The can will have the inscription on it “You’re the chosen one, show the world they made the right choice.” There will also other Easter eggs on the can that only fans will be able to identify like his signature Detroit hat and roses.
Budweiser knows how important rocking with Black musicians is and has had a history of supporting them.
From 1980 to 1999 (and a couple of spots in 2010 and 2011) the company hosted the Budweiser Superfest which was the biggest concert series of that era. Now, they are the lead sponsors for Jay-Z’s “Made in America” Festival.
