Common To Produce Fox Comedy About ’90s Rapper “93 Til Infinity”

(AllHipHop News) Common is set to produce a comedy show about a prolific ’90s rapper struggling to make it in current society entitled 93 Til Infinity.

Deadline reports that the show, which is set to air on Fox, will be produced by the rapper and Hamilton and Grease: Live director Thomas Kali.

The comedy will also feature writing courtesy of How To Make It In America creator Ian Edelman.

The show’s plot will place the focus on a successful ’90s rapper and his struggles to make in the present world, alongside his best friend from middle school, who’s equally in need of a midlife reboot.

93 Til Infinity producer Common, recently appeared in Suicide Squad and Barbershop: The Next Cut, and also won an Oscar for co-writing the song Glory from Selma.

The actor and rapper will also playthe role of a villain in John Wick 2.
