Learn Tha Game Productions has announced plans to release a series of documentaries that will feature well-known hip-hop artists, producers, deejays and executives, speaking on their accounts of the entertainment industry. The first installment, Learn Tha Game: Hip-Hop 101 is slated to address the business tactics involved in the industry. While filming the documentary, producer Greg Cassagnol says ignorance about the nuances of the entertainment industry was a common thread amongst the interviewees and Learn That Game will address the matter.
The first documentary in the series will be released on DVD and feature rappers and producers such as Nelly, Tragedy Khadafi, Cormega, KRS-ONE, Rockwilder, the Alchemist and Pete Rock. Also appearing are executives and managers as prominent as Master P, Scarface and Eric Nicks.
The trailer for Hip-Hop 101 is available to view at http://www.vidvision.com/LTG.rm. The next scheduled release for Learn Tha Game will be Hip-Hop 102, which will be producer oriented and break down how beat-makers craft hit singles and remain a fixture in the landscape of hip-hop’s ever-changing sound.
Conrad Dimanche and Greg Cassagnol, an A&R at Bad Boy Entertainment and music writer from More Than Words Media, respectively, founded Learn Tha Game Productions last year.
