Juice Wrld Autopsy Set To Determine Cause Of Rapper's Death

(AllHipHop News) On Monday (December 9th), investigators say they will conduct an autopsy on rapper Juice Wrld, who died suddenly earlier today.

The 21-year-old, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, had arrived at Midway Airport in Chicago following a flight from Los Angeles on Sunday morning (December 8th) when he fell ill.

Juice Wrld died in a private hanger at Midway Airport in Chicago.

Early reports said Juice Wrld died from a seizure, but close associates said he died from a heart attack at Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:14 AM.

Juice WRLD shot to fame last year with the hits “All Girls Are The Same” and “Lucid Dreams,” and he picked up the Top New Artist trophy at the Billboard Music Awards in 2019.

His hit albums included Wrld on Drugs – a collaboration with Future, Goodbye and Good Riddance, and Death Race for Love, which earned Juice WRLD his first number one on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year.

He also worked with artists like to BTS, Lil Uzi Vert, and Ellie Goulding.

“He was a gentle soul, whose creativity knew no bounds, an exceptional human being and artist who loved and cared for his fans above everything else,” Interscope Records said in a statement. “To lose someone so kind and so close to our hearts is devastating. Our thoughts are with Juice’s family and friends, everyone at his label Grade A, and his millions of fans around the world.”Lil Yachty was among the first to pay tribute to the late rapper on social media, posting a photo of himself with Juice WRLD and adding the caption: “bye brother, love u dawg… rip.”
