King Louie is recovering after he was shot in the head in an apparent attempt on his life in his native Chicago.
According to reports, the rapper was awake and talking from Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago, where he was recuperating.
Louie was shot yesterday in the Ashburn section of the city while inside his car around 3:30 pm local time. The bullet grazed his head.
King Louie gets credit for creating the term “Chi-Raq” as a nickname for Chicago. He recently dissed Spike Lee’s movie “Chi-Raq”.
