After the surprise release of his Black Messiah album last year, D’ Angelo had been performing non-stop. His extensive road trip, The Second Coming Tour, ended in September but he was still going to take the stage at the Fun Fun Fun Fest, slated to go down in Austin, TX. from Nov. 6th-8th. Due to illness, the “Brown Sugar” crooner has had to pull out of that commitment.
No worries though. Lauryn Hill has been announced as his replacement, XXL reports. Ms. Hill will be performing on Nov. 8th on the Orange Stage at 8:15 p.m.
Other performers who will grace also be in attendance Wu-Tang Clan, ScHoolboy Q, Joey Bada$$, Rae Sremmurd, GZA and many more.
