Rap star Lil Baby is paying tribute to his good friend and NBA All-Star, Ja Morant, in a new song called “Dark Mode.”
The new track will debut during game 3 of the NBA Playoffs when Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies take on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
“Dark Mode” is a 90-second song created by Lil Baby for Beats by Dre, where Ja Morant serves as a brand ambassador.

“Ja has been one of my favorite players to watch. We’ve been locked in,” said Lil Baby. “This is not my first time partnering with Beats, but we took it up a notch with this original song. The world gets to experience ‘Dark Mode’ for the first time in a way that’s crazy!”
Lil Baby referred to his previous partnership with Beats by Dre on a 2020 campaign called “You Love Me.”
Game 3 of the series, which is currently tied 1-1,.kicks off at 8:30 p.m. EST.
