Montreality caught up with Lil’ Bibby to ask their usual rundown of questions. Besides talking about his jobs as a teenager and what he did with his first check, the “Water” rapper also spoke about his relationship with MTV personality and radio host Sway and how he feels about doing interviews with him.
“Sway’s interviews man, I don’t really like them,” he laughed. “He be trying to get too deep, man. He’s an expert…I think he can see in your eyes if you’ve been through some s### so he asks all the right questions. He tries to cut deep. He gets me in my feelings sometimes.”
Bibby is actually one of Drake’s favorites and when he messaged the 20-year-old via Twitter to say that he was waiting on his Free Crack mixtape in 2013, Bib says he put the pressure on him. Drizzy has even reached out to the Chicago emcee to collaborate on wax but the song still has not come to life.
When asked, Bibby says their song would be “a deep, deep song” with ” a lot of melodies” and “crazy bars and crazy flows.”
“If it’s not a hit it’ll probably be a track that you can play 10, 20 years from now.”
