The Man Who Killed Rapper Flatline Claims He Acted In Self Defense

MAN CHARGED IN FLATLINE’S MURDER

(AllHipHop News) The man accused of killing Texas rapper Flatline has appeared in court,to face charges over the slaying.

Flatline, born José Mendoza, was shot and killed in February 2015, on in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The suspected gunman, Jesse Wayne Taylor, just pleaded not guilty to the shooting death of the rapper.

Prosecutors originally arrested Taylor just hours after the shooting and charged him with suspicion of murder.

According to the Caller Times, Taylor went directly to the local police directly after the shooting and admitted his involvement.

According to lawyers for Jesse Wayne Taylor, he acted in self-defense and criticized the local D.A. for bringing the case in front of a grand jury almost a year and a-half after the killing.
