(AllHipHop News) Flavor Unit’s Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere are set to present their new show The Best Place To Be.
The Travel Channel mini-series will premiere next month with the first episode presenting Latifah’s journey through Rio de Janeiro.
The Best Place To Be will feature four one-hour episodes where entertainers share favorite places to eat, drink, shop and sightsee in different locales.
Besides Latifah’s Brazil expedition, Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson visits Barcelona, Spain.
In addition, Jason Biggs (Orange Is the New Black) and Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) travel to Hong Kong and Kenya, respectively.
“This is a fun show that gives a true glimpse into how to really escape and explore,” says executive producer Shakim Compere. “Actors and performers are fortunate enough to travel around the globe for work and fun. But there’s always places that stay with them – these are the cities they keep going back to.”
The Best Place To Be is scheduled to debut with “Rio, Fit for a Queen” on Sunday, April 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT on the Travel Channel.
