Prince Paul is preparing to release his third

solo album, Politics Of The Business, a commentary on the state of the

music business.

The album features Ice-T, The Beatnuts, DJ Premier,

Guru, Biz Markie, Erick Sermon, Chuck D. and comedian and actor Chris Rock,

who collaborated with Paul on Rock’s Bigger And Blacker album.

The album is said to have a slightly more commercial

feel to it than Paul’s past productions, which is said to be the point of the

album.

Politics Of The Business is slated for

a May 6 release.
